Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron Trailer #2

He doesn't look all that dangerous though. In fact in half the shots he's all broken looking. His name is in the title and I don't know what is going on with this movie and why I should be excited about him.

If you do not know who Ultron is use google. The movie trailer shouldn't have to reveal all the plots of something people can easily look up

The trailer should just be Kevin Feige reading the Wikipedia entry for Ultron I guess?

Enchantress behind Thor?

Don't think anyone mentioned this but it feels like it was slimmed down for tv broadcast. Hopefully like the 1st one we get another soon with more footage.

It should be showing me why Ultron is more dangerous than Loki in the previous film.

But it's showing that, look how much the team is struggling to hold it together once Ultron comes into existence. Look at how much darker in tone the movie appears compared to the relatively light and colourful Avengers.

Why should they spoil all the good stuff in the 2nd teaser? What you're asking is exactly what they're doing with these trailers, without explicitly giving away important plot points and action scenes.

Yup
Trailer just made it look like she did

It's definitely this attack that's wrecking Stark. You can see that the 5 beams come from his fingers, and that it's a five-pronged blast that hits Tony.

Cool tidbit about this gif, you can see the energy building up in the back of his hand before he fires it.

Actually aside from the music it looks pretty similar to the first one. Even those robot minions have a similar color palette to the aliens in part 1.

I'm asking for them to establish why Ultron is a bigger threat. It looks like more of the same right now, just explosions in the city and fighting amongst themselves.

Why do I have the nagging feeling that this movie will try to do too much? I can't really explain it, and I trust Joss to bring the enjoyment, but I just have this feeling that I can't shake.

Still, looking forward to it. Calling it: Thor dies.

Thor: Ragnarok was announced for 2017. ;)

Last year I for sure thought Whedon was going to kill an Avenger, but as time goes on I'm really starting to doubt it now that we know how the characters are all fitting into Phase 3.

That was pretty underwhelming. Just a bunch of random and mostly unimpressive scenes strung together. Much worse than first trailer. Actually, it was the kind of trailer we usually get as a first one.

So you're saying Beta Ray Bill will be the star of Thor 3...

I wish

They tried the same thing with the Iron Man 3 trailers and we saw how dark that movie was (it wasn't). This is a Marvel movie. It won't be dark.

Edit: Beaten again and again

Iron Man 3 had serious trailers and that turned out to be a comedic movie so I'm guessing Avengers Age of Ultron is just saving the comedy for the movie itself(and not the trailers).

Every Marvel film has serious trailers and they're all comedies. But y'all got Alzheimer's with every new flick.

Looks good, but not really special. Just an incoherent compilation of clips saying ' look at this cool shit we got.'.

I actually like that, and it works on many levels. A serious tone sells these types of movies better, and jokes land much better if they haven't all been told prior to release.

Imagine the Hulk and Loki scene had that been shown in trailers before release.

Oh, that would have been awful.

I love it when movies don't spoil any of the jokes or plot in the trailers. These are just my speed. Hype, but not at the cost of spoiling everything.

How do you watch any movie then?

The trailer was alright, doesn't matter what they show because I am hyped for this.

Despite how awesome the Hulk Buster Unit looks, we all know that the Hulk is going to prevail, just because every version of this armour from the comics had failed taking down Bruce in the past.

The hulk buster always kept the hulk occupied. It could never take him down.

They will have a tie
or interrupt the battle

mark my words

Is this the beginning of the civil war?

I don't know too much about that story but just wondering with how they showed Thor and Hulk going at Tony Stark.

Another terrible trailer.
What the hell is going on over at Marvel?
Also what happened to all the colours? Everything is so muted.

Ultron says he will tear them apart from the inside, which could refer to inciting a fight amongst avengers, leading to civil war.

I am still fully convinced that this movie will connect/lead into Ant-Man by revealing that Hank Pym created the Ultron program back in the day; Tony Stark discovers it and modernizes and modifies it to run with his iron man suits, thus satisfying true fans because Hank Pym really is still the creator of Ultron while introducing us to his character before the Ant-man movie

It looks like she is manipulating him somehow..

here is a close up from superhero feed:

Whoa...nudity in Avengers 2? Disney so edgy now.

Also...going from A2 to Ant-Man is going to be weird ---- One is this big superheroes action movie and another being a small time crooks controlling ants.

In WW Hulk it only failed because of some sabotage.

Otherwise it stood up to Hulk just fine, second only to Sentry I think.

I am still salty that they retconned pym out of ultron's creation. They could have had tony working with Michael Douglas for 5 minutes...

I don't notice much difference in the colors. Just looks like a small variety of filters from previous films. Some of it looks like Iron Man 3, some of it looks like Cap 2, some of it looks like The Avengers, and so on.

According to the plot summary, Ultron is an old project Tony dug up. Could be that Pym created Ultron, deemed it unsafe, and killed the project before shit could happen. The ant-man blueprint showed two helmets: The one Paul Rudd is using, and one very reminiscent of the Ultron design.

Anyone taking notes of all the complaints to compare after the movie is released to see if they said anything good about the movie? Lol
