What a great trailer.

Definitely the best shot superhero stuff we've seen as far as "TV" goes, this actually rivals or exceeds a lot of the films if all of it is on par with these scenes.

With only 8 episodes, i highly doubt it, but if it were the case, i hope he first gets the yellow suit.

I even doubt we'll get Elektra/Bullseye.

It's 13 episodes, I doubt we'll see the yellow suit, we'll probably see him wear it at the gym as a university student or something. If personally think the suit will be red and black, the comics industry has shown time and time again that to reduce any potential backlash about shit not being in the comics they change shit in the comics first. Of the top of my head:

Black/Sam Jackson Nick Fury
Wonder Woman wearing trousers in the TV adaptation
Thor's outfit
Rhino wearing a suit of armour
Other shit I can't think off.

Daredevil had a black suit as recently as Shadowlands and MVC3. So maybe they'll make it red and black.

Wait, come to think of it. When it releases on April 10 I will have 13 days until the premiere of Age of Ultron. Which means I can watch one episode a day. Sounds like a great plan.
 
It's a really, really good trailer. I'm honestly struggling to think of anything coming out of the MCU that I'm not absolutely hyped for. It's a grand time to be a Marvel fan for sure.
 
You guys think we get a cameo from Fury or Coulson at some point in this or do you think they keep it more self contained than that?

I would guess it'd be more self-contained. The idea with Daredevil I think is that it's a signal of the bigger universe popping up, where we have more than 4 or 5 heroes to keep focusing on. Fury doesn't have time to visit every new person that has powers, especially in SHIELD's fragmented state.

I'm fine with references though, Hell's Kitchen being so messed up because of the Chitauri invasion makes sense. Irked me in what little we saw of post-Avengers New York in A.O.S. it was basically... fine. Like, they kept talking about New York, but it in no way looked like a city that had 200 feet long space worms crashing into it a few months prior.

I hope they keep that side of things away from this. Focus purely on the criminal element - Fury and Coulson have wider-scale problems to deal with.

Coulson turns up at Murdock's apartment after the credits roll in episode 13 and says "My name is Director Coulson of SHIELD. I'm here to talk to you about the Defenders initiative."

I think it'll be Coulson if anyone. Chris Evans said a while back that his contract specifies that he has like 9 appearances. As a result though he may want to do a cameo in the odd show or shit, Marvel are reluctant to have an actor say a cameo was an appearance and then force them to renegotiate their contract before it should be due.

Really can't imagine Cap showing up in a show like this anyway. Maybe Hawkeye... maybe Spider-Man... but that's kinda it. Unless you also have some opening shot of Iron Man flying by with Murdock going "People look up in awe, but guys like Stark, they never bother to look down."
 
Daredevil is my second favorite hero after Spidey, and this looks like it'll meet my high expectations after all. Seeing as this is an adaptation, I see no need for a return of the yellow suit.

Marvel/Netflix doin' it right. Amen.

Now just give me a Moon Knight show.

Wow, really impressed with this new trailer and I am surprised they are keeping the red suit under such tight wraps but I can wait another month to see it. I am even more hyped now that there is a lot of positive buzz for the choreography. I hope it really delivers in that department.

The yellow suit talk in this thread made me remember that Ikari was a character introduced a couple of years ago and hasn't been seen since.

Although he is a character with really NO history and a couple of appearance, I would like to see him adapted into live action. They really need to follow through with Ikari in the comic books though.
 
Oh man, how I wish DeKnight could alternate seasons of Daredevil and Punisher.

The most I would hope for would be to see the Avengers tower in the distance.

But I think we'll only get references like the one in the trailer. And that's okay.

I would rather see Agents of Shield get a visit by Hawkeye, even though it now seems unlikely.

And in Season 2 of Daredevil they can maybe incorporate the Daily Bugle and let J Jonah Jameson appear.
