I expect ToDrDC to do a respectable 150-200k. 300k seems a bit of a reach. Maybe Namco's just hopeful and wants to follow P3 Fes' lead. P3 Fes sold as many as the original P3 did.... doubt it'll happen here.

It makes sense for some sort of numbers to be leaked by now, since Japan for the most part went back to work on the 4th (Friday). If it weren't Saturday now I'd have expected MC numbers in the morning.

I was hoping Galaxy would eclipse Sunshine by these numbers, but it's about 40k short. Still, if next week's numbers really are bigger than last's, we might see it hit 850k.

Also worth noting, if these numbers are true, is that the 49k for PS3 really isn't that bad. Historically, this week is slower than the last, so the drop is understandable. We should watch for the numbers next week to see if the PS3 tracks above 60k, since if it doesn't, there's not much chance it ever will until MGS4 hits.

Its amazing when you think its the DIRECTORS CUT of a REMAKE of the BEST SELLING ENTRY and still costs 7140Y the LIMITED edition which they are making 200k sets, truckload more than the REGULAR editions which costs 6090Y, which is as much as the latest newest entry in the series, despite being the regular edition of a directors cut version of a remake of the best selling entry.

People who don't think Disgaea will have an impact on PS3 sales aren't thinking clearly: It'll likely bring in an audience that wasn't originally planning to buy a PS3. However, it also won't stop the system from dropping below 30k, let alone 40. It's over 4 weeks of tracking away from this latest batch of figures and it's already dropped below 50k during the holidays?
