I actually like that u can dodge bullets with the cardboard box but I dont like how people can get a a quick accurate shot after get out of it. I wish they added more recoil after someone pops out of it or have a loose cross hair that isn't always in the center of the screen.
I went undercover and learned how to do the non-lag switch invisible glitch. I mailed customer support about the process. I hope they'll do something about it.
Its bs how easy it is to do. I'm completely an anti-cheater so I've never used it against anyone.
One way to defeat it is to throw chaff grenades so they cant sync up their cqc grab.
Konami should just make it so teammates can't cqc each other even when friendly fire is on.
Not only will it stop that cqc glitch, it'll also stop assholes from team cqcing.

I've seen one player from the NeoGaf clan in my entire MGO experience, and I don't even know who he is.
When the guy you're trying to grab runs too close to a teammate. It usually happens in knife matches.

So, MGO has become a haven for extreme douchebags which makes it very difficult to have fun or train. I could use a non-lethal training buddy, so if you want to train without the bullshit of others, PM me and we'll plan a meet.

Honestly the depth of MGO (with CQC, third person, over the shoulder, auto aim, first person, all the skills, game modes) is something taht will keep me playing it pretty much no matter what, they're just so much more strategy to this game than most other online games.
One thing that you might not notice, though, is that with the most recent expansion/update, all the textures for every map were basically touched up, so I'm assuming that some of that cost isn't just for the new maps/mode.
Speaking of modes, they really need to make a 'Heroes' mode of some sort where you can all play as the various characters. And Bomb Mission isn't all that good, imo.

I love MGO a lot but it's going to be hard for me to pick the game back up when Killzone 2 is coming out as well as Socom. Maybe the new bomb mode will help breathe some life into it before I move on.

Why is there still no auto-matching of skill levels and teams in Survival Mode? what is the point in pitching sloths and below level 10's against Lvl 16 Foxhounds? How has this not been implemented 2 Content packs and multiple patches later? Its fundamentally stupid and broken. It completely ruins the game or point of survival mode as often you'll just face glitchers or MGO killing automatons.

I actually witnessed someone using the lag switch cheat. He was being a little bitch and hated anyone who had a red ping, so he used a lag switch to kill them. Then, he assumed that I was doing a "lag cqc grab" despite the fact that I don't even know how to cheat and I had full green bars. No one apparently noticed anything wrong either, he just didn't like the fact that I was killing him.
Then, last night, I was able to sneak and cqc some guy in a TDM and I killed him after knocking him out. He assumed I was cheating and denying that I knew what he was talking about. I wasn't kicked that time, but it's so funny that people assume that you're cheating when you are using fair and legal combat tactics.
By the way, I maxed out my assault rifle, and there's a noticeable difference in efficiency from a level two rifle skill.
Then, last night, I was able to sneak and cqc some guy in a TDM and I killed him after knocking him out. He assumed I was cheating and denying that I knew what he was talking about. That's good to know, I did max it out. But usually I just use AS2 with 2 other skills. Currently using CQC2, AS2. Unless a specific game mode requires a better skill set.
I finally maxed box skill to level 3 :lol So great.

The new maps look awesome for scene.
The mall reminds me of Dead Rising, the mansion map looks lik the mansion in RE1 and act 2 and then there an eastern Europe map with lots of nice sniping spots

I let my kid bro borrow my MGS4.. he ended up having it for way longer than i thought so i havent been able to play in ages.
I been playing again the last few days and forgot how much fun this game was..
Really miss the good old days of seeing the gaffers all over the place.

Love MGO. Would love to be in the clan. I'm in college so I may not get to play all the time but with the new SCENE expansion coming soon I'll likely be logging in some time very soon. In fact I almost played some today but got sidetracked.

I jumped online for some Survival last night and man it's annoying to keep getting matched up against level 14 - 17 guys. I'm only at level 11. They need automatching in survival and the tournament matches.

Who wants to sign up for a tournament this weekend? It's either at 8 or 10 pm saturday or sunday. Which works best for you? I usually do Sunday at 10 pm, but I could do saturday night as well.

I'd set up a room to gather members maybe 45 or 30 mins before 8 or 10 pm and call it NeoGAF. That work? Which time works for you guys? I'm entering regardless.
