i know lots of people seem to be upset about david hayter gone and now no cardboard boxes, but is anyone else kind of excited? not just by the lack of, but almost total rejection, of obvious fan service?
mgs4 seemed like the game kojima made because everyone else wanted him to, not necessarily something from his own initiative, and it suffered for it. mgs5 seems like a game he actually gives a shit about again. it looks ambitious and fairly distinct in the AAA space seemingly taking cues from one of my favs of the last generation(far cry 2), it's overtly political hopefully without being wishy washy, there's that joan baez song and apparently a section in a hospital that looks more like something out of a supernatural horror movie than a political thriller, etc... game sounds tight.
