Holy crap. This is just insane to watch. One part of me is totally amazed, while the other is weeping for humanity because in some ways this is almost ridiculously sad. Argh...wish I had those speed burst control skills though...

Personally, I've played through the game 3 times now...my best time so far is an hour and a half. I'm going for 100% item completion next.

I think he even managed it with an absolute MINIMUM of floor/ceiling/wall shooting, as well!! ;p

Me neither. The guy doesn't even pick up the long beam for the entire game and relies mostly on missiles. The way he gets some of the secrets and just about everything else about the video is mind boggling. I learned some new tricks too. Constant wall jumping being the main one.

I've beaten it in under an hour, but.... Jesus. That guy's ridiculous.

I knew about the single-wall-jump, but, like Alucard, I never thought to use it that often. Or on the side of platforms.

I'm using the wall jump more often now but I don't think I'm skilled enough to do it from ledge to ledge just yet. Actually, that website teaches you a ton of little tricks for beating the game quicker. I already have the Varia suit and haven't even faced Ridley or Kraid yet! Infinite bomb jumping rules.
