This has always been a realistic concern. “No one gets left behind” has been the MS mantra.

Hope this doesn’t somehow hold 3rd parties back.

Not sure how a 1st parrty compromised game can possibly compete with a fully loaded next gen 3rd party title tho. So there is still possibility this is bullshit.

If you had told me last year that Microsoft would repackage an Xbox 1S and sold it as a new product, by removing its hard drive and changing nothing else, I would have considered it bullshit too,

The "No one gets left behind" MS thing will be the thing that will kill their console next-gen. People in 2023 will be having GAF conversations saying, "Sony only won because MS decided to make all 1st party games run on both X1S and Xbox Scarlett." It's the same thing people say about MS throwing Kinect into the Xbox One at the beginning of this gen and how they claim "TV, TV, TV" is what hurt MS.
