I'm a little late to the party but that memory thing is creepy af. I wouldn't be surprised if 20 or 30 years from now, people record events with their loved ones, and "relive them" after their loved ones' deaths.

Well, people already do that with videos today, and before that with photos. It's the logical evolution, but the immersive rendering would make it even more poignant indeed.
Also it was done in Minority Report, like a previous poster hinted earlier.
