That's the important part. I couldn't even buy lunch for that sort of money.SickBoy said:It's 200 points. Get it and start spreading the gospel.

Orellio said:Damn. I'm at 1050 or so and am a little hesitant to continue onward without being able to use elevators. Are there more teleporters farther down than the ones at 600 and 850 depth?
AstroLad said:I'm going to spoiler my only complaint about the game.
Spamming elevators just gets you to the bottom way too quickly. Or at least the long elevators are way too cheap. At first I thought an elevator could only go down to 100, so it made me explore each level a lot more. Once I realized they can go down to 1200 (or whatever), I got to the "end" very fast. I guess it's more praise for the game in a way since I was quite enjoying the expedition and didn't want it to end so quickly.

The game you quoted is itself a clone. A million of the things spawned after the success of Dig Dug in 1982. The timing of Miner VGA's release, 7 years after Dig Dug, seems to imply that is is among the many spawned from there. Heck, that's long enough that it might even be a clone of a clone.Open Source said:Not sure why a clone of an old DOS freeware game deserves anything.

My 360 only goes online via my laptop by internet sharing, and it's only when I download things from XBLA.
This is total bullshit. :/
Rlan said:This is Xbox Live Indie Games. In order for XBLIG to get away with not being a part of the ESRB or other rating systems they had to make it so you're online at all times while playing them.
Mobile Phone games work on a completely different system worldwide, for some reason.
Yeah, this is the one thing I really can't stand about the indie games.Dragona Akehi said:I realise this isn't exactly the thread for it, but I did buy Miner Dig Deep. I can't play the fucking thing because it HAS TO BE ONLINE? What the FUCK is this bullshit? :/

I think it would be cool for there to be a couple towns/bases to explore way underground...

Why would they need to do that? I don't know of any law requring games to be rated by the ESRB or be online-only.Rlan said:This is Xbox Live Indie Games. This sounds to me like a way for them to cut off access to a game that you purchased if in the future they decide to pull it from the service. (For instance, if it were highly offensive and stirred up publicity that was bad for their public image.)
goldenpp72 said:Well I mean is there an objective or end to the game? or do you just dig endlessly to find stuff.
