I'm pretty sure Syphon Filter is one of yours Yankees Council.

*rifles through Council roster* nope! I would remember him.

Corran has seniority for SFG-GAF, lifelongs aren't under my jurisdiction!

you're a senior officer, tell your bandwagoners to chill, KC fans should be celebrated not dumped on.

I don't know if it's the production but this whole presentation feels strangely low key. Bumgarner looks about as excited as if he won a game of bingo at the local senior citizens center.

he's boooooring! a real boring dude! he's jelly of Puig's swag.

Ned is a class act. I wish more managers were as forth coming and honest even after a loss like this. Royals played great baseball no doubt.

Welp, that was tense, Royals really coulda done it if not for some really bad split second decisions, but hey, that's baseball right. Happy for Bum and the Giants fans though.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I still can't fckin believe we won!!!!!!!! Came back from the bar on the train home now....but..wooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2010 2012 2014!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See ya'll in 2016!!!!!!!!

2015 last place giants lollllll!!!!!

I'm sure this has been talked about plenty in this thread, but I really believe the Royals score if they go for the inside the park home run. The Giants looked like spectators watching Bum pitch. Were they going to make the play and tag him out at home?

Even though I said before the game the Giants were going to pitch Bumgarner until he dropped, I didn't honestly expect anything like this. I'm not sure there has ever been a single player more responsible for a championship. He was a one man starting rotation in the playoffs, pitching significantly more innings than the rest of the starting rotation combined, and being otherwordly when all the rest were dropping like flies.

GG Royals, you guys made this an awesome series. Even as proud as I am of my Giants, you guys winning would've been awesome too for how hard you played.

Friday's gonna be insane, but tomorrow will be too... Can't wait to head into work tomorrow!

Oh and will be picking up some extra copies of The Examiner as wrapping paper for my friend who's a Dodgers fan (it's all in good fun).

Is that confirmed for the parade? I would've thought they'd make it Monday... But you do have Election Day the day after... But then again they've done that crazy dance before :/

I think some morons are trying to set something on fire down the street. :/ herrrrrrrre we go.

Fairly sure the parade is not going to be on Halloween lol. It'll probably be on Wednesday.

People should stop saying this, he would've been out even with an awful throw.

Royals could have won and no other club (outside of Sandy Alderson sick Mets fans) would have wanted him.

He can be honest because he has job security and he probably doesn't have the media training guys like girardi and Mattingly have.

Yeah, it would have been really close, but I think he would have made it.

I've been hearing nothing but fireworks and horns honking for the past 20 minutes or so now.

Yeah, I live in a quiet neighborhood and I can still hear fireworks and people yelling.

I hear fireworks too!!!!!

Except...I'm in KC and it's people setting them off to celebrate a win that never came and not wanting to waste them... :(

I've been to a final Championship game for a team and a sport that I care about and love, and we won. That was an amazing high and I'm not sure I'll get it again. This though...this is the worst sporting low I've ever felt. I thought the Chiefs loss in the playoffs was bad last year, but that was more angry. This is just sadness and pain.

One more time, GG Giants. 3 in 5 is enough though. Be done for awhile please. Thanks.

In that picture it looks like he had already slowed down. I'm saying if he went full speed all the way with no hesitation. But you may be right, it seemed like they were kicking the ball around in the outfield for a very long time, but time was in slow motion.

Of course he had slowed down after reaching 2nd. The Perez fuck up after Blanco's is the most improbable shit ever probably caught him off guard. Can't really ask for more there.

Royals fans have nothing to be ashamed of. Amazing team and amazing fans. It was an honor to share this world series with you and make all of the news outlets and mlb rage because NY/Bos/LA/LAA aren't in it. I feel like the Royals have a good enough core to make a playoff run next season. I'm happy the team I've rooted for since I was a kid won again but I'm sad baseball is over. Time to constantly refresh mlbtraderumors over and over the next several months.

At least I have season 9 of is always sunny to watch in my depression. And whatever seasons come after number 3 for archer.

Much rather be drinking to remember than to forget.

let me guess, your one of those people who think he'll leave them, sign with the yankees and win 10 world series.

ha

Trout isn't going anywhere for six more seasons and by then Pujols will only have one more year and there won't be any other current bad contracts on the board. If Trout is still on top of his game, LA won't let him leave.

I know I'm spoiled as a Giants fan, but I really needed this. Having a tough time in life atm and this was a much needed distraction.

Edit: great series Royals fans, crazy going 7 games. Royals are super young and crazy good and I feel like this is not going to be their last post season run.

Same here....just lost a close friend and co-worker last Friday....I've just been on autopilot in the real world, just numb....but excited to be on GAF for the post season.

I don't mind that the Royal fans were cheering their team. The Royal players played their hearts out this game...this series....this post season...I'll never forget their performance vs the A's...it was like no other.

Congrats Royal fans you have one hell of a team....still found a way to be in position to tie it and maybe win it.....it was game 7 of the World Series and those last few innings could've went either way.

And Congrats to our players...After so many years of heart break and disappointment...I'm still not "used" to World Series wins...this was special just like the other two....can't believe after all those years as a child watching the Giants...they have won THREE WORLD SERIES.....still can't believe it. You fellas have made up for the 49ers heart ache I've had these 3 years.

Take Care GAF!
