After that broken nose and seeing Rory's smoking hot GF, why would he go back to the UFC? He can easily win the 70 and 85 titles without going through wars and fucking up his brain and face, all while making a boatload of cash. He had a Monster logo on his shorts but after Friday I wouldn't doubt he gets offers from big name sponsors like Nike or Under Armour. The entire country of Canada is watching him.

Honestly he seems way happier there, Rory is one of my favorite fighters; glad he's getting a fair living wage. I do think that 98% of the competition there isn't close to his level though.

Rory was the last person to beat both Woodley and Maia, funnily enough.

I guess she took a dive because she didnt want to beat up a kid or something. No way you lose to a 12 year old.

So apparently Cyborg has attacked Angela Magana at the UFCs fighter retreat and knocked out one of her teeth. And Kajan Johnson (never heard of him myself) was escorted from the premises for speaking out about the Reebok deal lol. They should have made this retreat a PPV

No clue if true or what happened but Angela Magana always seemed like a extra crazy garbage person on TUF. One that would smear shit on your door and kill your cat because you forgot to reply to a text.

Western Australia.
I'll pick him. He finished Jacare and made it look easy. Yoel barely beat him.

I'm putting money on him, but like I've said earlier in the thread this may be a little too early in his career.

TJ vs DJ will be on the same card too

Edit: sorry, TJ vs DJ pushed to Aug

Damn.

Is this the shortest timeframe in which the UFC has had a new champ and then set up an interim title fight?

Wasn't DJ interested in fighting Garbrandt though?

His odds against Garbrandt or Dillashaw are essentially the same.
Zero.

I wouldn't blame DJ for ducking them.

the last time he talked about fighting someone from 135 lbs is only if it's a super fight, and for that to happen his opponent has to be the champ.

I have to say, having this so-called GOAT telling TJ Dillashaw to get in line while he waits for a contract to fight "Ray Borg" is tough to spin.

I assume he thinks he can wring some money out of the UFC brass and will have a rude awakening when Dana laughs in his face and sets up another interim title fight.

Interim? The TJ fight would be for DJ's belt as TJ would drop to 125. Or am I missing something?

you're right, but what's being played out is DJ wanting more money to fight TJ because he's not from his division. DJ is treating this as if it were a money fight. He has every right to do that imo, but this fight is Dana's idea and we know how that will go especially if a fighter has no leverage like DJ.

Was kidding, but WME-IMG sure does like to throw interim titles at every problem they have.

But yeah, I view this as a failed power play. If he had an ounce of sense, Mighty Mouse would be begging anyone with a recognizable name to come fight him.
