Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 |OT| CC2 Doing Pierrot's Work

Good god that ending. I have been waiting years to finally see this conclude. YEARS. I avoided the ending when it first ended in the manga like the plague. I did get spoiled that
Kakashi becomes the 6th
which kinda annoyed me because it was my fault, can't remember why.

I have been following Naruto casually since it first aired on Toonami. That final battle was everything I wanted. The culmination of all that build up of Naruto vs Sasuke since the beginning was so well executed in this battle and the cinematography was angled so well in the final scene before the credits. I was also not expecting that
Black Zetsu twist
. Don't have much time to post all my impressions so gotta keep this short.

I really hope CC2 continues the Storm series using Part 3 as 5 and doesn't start over. The gameplay is really a lot of fun.

Now...Shonen Jump...WHERE THE HELL IS PART 1 & 2 ON BLURAY

You have to pretty much get perfects just to qualify for S Ranks in Story Mode. The battle conditions are only there for the items.

That said, that first Guy vs Madara fight was SUFFERING.

I was playing this game earlier today. It's really freaking good. Any Naruto fan should get it. Even me, a guy who really enjoyed the manga in the beginning and hated how crazy it got towards the end, loves this game.

I've been maining Boruto and Sarada, the sneaky Rasengan is so goddamn useful at close and medium range, and sarada's support and link combo is FUCKIN CUTE AS SHIT.

Sarada is amazing and her support move is crazy good.

It's not Storm, but they're definitely not abandoning the franchise/license.

Naruto “Ultimate Ninja Blazing” Trademarked by Bandai Namco Europe

Sounds like a mobile game, though.
Honestly, with DBZ, Bleach and One Piece all having extremely successful mobile "gacha" games, I've been surprised for a loooong time that there isn't a Naruto game in the running.

Naruto already has an extremely successful mobile game......in China. Made by Tencent iirc.

Man now I know what a couple of people that posted in here feel like about online -- too many people have played these games before that they already have a stupid team setup and are familiar with everything. What was worse is that much of the matches I had definitely had input delay, I could feel it so everything about how I was playing compared to offline was completely thrown off.

I think the worst thing is I don't really have a solid team yet either. I'm still kind of experimenting and I really want to avoid the most commonly picked characters/versions of the main cast. Unfortunately if you don't pick characters or a team with more long-range projectiles you'll definitely suffer and get your ass kicked because you literally cannot get close to them.

I'll also never understand why CC2 decided to let people cancel their jutsus even if they have gone through most of the animation. :/

I only won one game.

Oh and probably the most BS thing I fought was Shisui spamming his fire sword jutsu. I couldn't get through it because of the assists he had and who I was using (Asuma, Yamato, and Kakashi).

Free PSN weekend coming up.

There are 5 slots after Kimimaro but only 4 characters coming as DLC. Huh.

Learn how to jutsu cancel, block and manage subs and you should perform a lot better. Supports are helpful but they aren't a necessity. Although I would always recommend a charge assist.

I'm a big fan of these games, but ignored storm 4 since i felt the last few were too similar, but i've been hearing this ones really good? can anyone explain why?

Combat is the best its been in the series. Story is a bit disappointing due to the first part using anime stills but the finale is animated very well. Unfortunately, the story is not entirely true to the manga.

I'll keep trying but it's kind of ugh the way some people play these games.

It's really all about using the right techniques at the right time, and well distance :p, you have to figure out the range of whatever character you're using attacks are. Along with your support ability.

Like with Boruto and Sarada as my support, his combos have really small reach, and his fully powered ultimate jutsu is tiny as well. However his jutsu the "Sneaky Rasengan" has incredible range, can track your opponent's whether they are going backwards and sidestepping, and is kind of hard to see clearly because 1 second after using that jutsu it goes from the traditional rasengan to see through ripples with a thin vortex. It basically comes down to using whatever substitution jutsus I have so I can charge my chakra, getting in as close as possible by double chakra dashing, trying to get as much of a combo in as I can, and if I can't pull off a full combo, then I might instead do a chakra/regular dash backwards followed by a rasengan.

Usually when someone sees me trying to get some distance from them they close in with their own chakra dashes, and that's a mistake. Cuz the tracking ability of the sneaky rasengan meets them head on no matter what, and breaks them out of their dash. I can follow it up with a sarada support when they get up, or I could keep charging chakra so I could get an ultimate jutsu in by keeping a small amount of distance to block, throw, or (again) use Sarada.

The best part is how simple all of those moves are that makes it pretty much purely about determining distance, and about quick thinking movement in a 3d plane; rather than memorization of combos and only being able to move left and right in a 2d fighter.

Around what time do you guys usually play?

I play mostly at night, and find no one on my friend list, let alone anyone here playing

Biggest change is smoother tighter combat and the fact that you can switch character to your supports in team matches.

WHOOOOOA!

Major patch just hit the PC version and radically lowered the minimum system requirements for the game!
Went from being literally unplayable on absolutely minimum settings to pretty darn solid at 720 with a couple bells and whistles on!

I'm seriously surprised and impressed, devs!

It's definitely time to start thinking about replacing my 6 year old computer, but this is a pleasant thing to wake up to!

I am almost done S ranking everything and unlocking characters. I'll hop into online after I finish that and get the last few trophies for the platinum.

S ranking that Juubi mission was just.....ugh.

Well it might take another 6 months or so, but at least we'll get to see the anime's perspective.

They are my favourite and I love them. Literally. OTP material.

I was sad at the differences they included for seemingly no reason but it is what it is.

It was emotional and so good. That sequence of Kakashi and Tobi fighting that guy was freaking amazing. My jaw dropped. I was so hyped.

So how is this game? It sounds like it is a good entry in the series from skimming this thread. I only own Generations so I guess I should buy this no matter what but I'm just wondering.

I hope it is a open world Naruto RPG. The Naruto world is perfect for something like The Witcher 3. My dream is to travel the Naruto world playing as Jiraiya, visit different villages, do quests, talk to Feudal Lords and write porn novels. :)

I would say its the best entry yet, combat is awesome, lots of characters and tons of content to go through. The tag system is also a great addition.

started playing online, getting rekt pretty badly lol

just when i thought i had the game down. people online are leagues ahead ._.

Anyone know how much more damage (in percent or otherwise) you take when your armor is broken? Is it negligible?
In my experience, it's enough that I make sure I change characters at some point. I kept wondering why I kept getting rekt in the second round, then started switching and it got at least a little better.

I'm having trouble installing the game. I can't play any other mode. What do I do? The game has been installing since 12 in the afternoon.

Have you been letting the game sit there while it's on the main menu? It shouldn't take any more than 30 minutes. If you quit out of it the installation process starts over again.
