If I were you, I'd be like "Do you know who I am?! I'm MarkMan! (formerly known as BowlCutMan) I beat up kids like you during lunch breaks!"

I should have told him "I'm MarkMan! Kadey's lover, get it? She gave me this stupid haircut"

Hais is fine. It's up there with the Pelican and InPin IMO.
Thanks, I can continue to neglect my VSHG, TE, HRAP V-3, and custom for my old-school Namco without any doubts :p
(for some reason it's the only thing i can use for T6)

I'm glad I can help gamers save some money. Please let me know how the sticks are once you get one (if you haven't gotten one already)...

Have a good night ya'll.

So I see the NCR coupon and bite since 30% off is pretty good. I go and order a 360 Round 2. Going to turn this thing into a sweet UMK3 stick. So yeah, I'm pretty happy. Then the next day I see on SRK's frontpage that MadCatz is running an even better memorial day coupon THE SAME FREAKING WEEKEND. It was only like a $5 difference, but that makes no f'n sense to me. Screw you Madcatz lol. Whos idea was this? Why even bother with the NCR coupon? IT MAKES NO SENSE!

Anger rising...

I wish I was in the US right now. Buying a TE here (Sweden) costs the equivalent of $200, not including shipping :(

Nice! I ordered this morning, I don't need to do anything to get refunded the shipping, right?

Ledsen indeed, I'm in the same boat. If I had a bit more money I'd have someone ship one to me, but I can't really cover the cost right now. :[

Ditto. I ordered yesterday. Any calls/messages that we have to send out, MM?

You'll be refunded automatically.

I advised my web/sales team to take care of all existing orders that had ground shipping already. If you paid for 2 Day or Next Day Air however, that will still be the same.

Need some new sticks. Finally put an order on for 360 version of the BB TE. I think I'm all caught up except the new Hori BB stick.

Should I do the new Hori stick?

Alright GAF, I'm fed up with the squishyness of the SE fightstick buttons, so I'm upgrading it with sanwa parts. Here is my cart from lizardlick, just want to double check and make sure that the models of each part is correct and compatible with the SE stick:

Also, apparently the joystick does not include the wiring harness. Is this something that is already in the stick itself? Additionally, the connector from the joystick to the SE fightstick apparently comes lose and in some cases should be glued after modding. What kind of glue should I use? Thanks ahead of time!

You are good togo.

Markman you clever bastard, got the tatsunoko stick today and on the dustcover disk, I noticed the directional arrows. I like how the stick feels better than the 360 SE.

Like I said in the op, i plan on using glue but I'm unsure what kind.
If I'm understanding correctly the harness comes off that connects the JLF to the Fightstick? If this is the case I would simply use some tape as another poster suggested. If you use glue, what happens if you have to swap in another stick at some point? For what it's worth I got a first run SE that I modded almost a year ago and I have had no problems with the harness (I have never used glue or tape).

Also, you should check out this thread http://forums.shoryuken.com/showthread.php?t=175882

People here will obviously help you, but the thread I linked off to has everything in one place for quick reference. Modding the stick is pretty simple, but the thread does a good job summarizing some of the possible hiccups you may encounter.

OOh yes.

Thanks.

Let me explain the difference between the SF4 SE and the TVC FightStick.

I didn't have time to create/engineer new parts for the SE when SF4 launched. So we did what we could.

TVC was the result of more time/engineering and testing. It was a labor of love to create some GOOD buttons and stick components for our own arcade sticks.

Robokrikit on SRK did a great comparison on Sanwa vs the TVC parts:

All right guys. How can I go about getting an Arcade Stick with the stick on the right side and the buttons on the left? I'm now fully convinced this is the only way I can use an arcade stick.

Also, the right microswitch on my 360 TE is now inconsistent in reading inputs. Anyone know if there's a way to fix this?

Find an arcade stick maker willing to do a custom. Will likely be expensive, but it would be doable I think.

so I found out my start button doesn't work recently.
I looked inside and it looks like a part of the green part of the start/select PCB is somehow peeled. Any way to fix?

Yeah, either a custom like the person above me stated or I suppose you could just rearrange the buttons and rotate the joystick 180 degrees...

Hey guys, I just won a $100 Gamestop giftcard, and i'm thinking I want to put it towards a fightstick for the 360. So, out of the sticks that GameStop sells (which I think are just the SFIV Tourny ed. and the MvC2 set?) which is superior?

Go with the SSFIV stick because it's got the standard button layout. They're the same thing insiede.

Great, thanks.

Would the regular, non tournament edition be alright as well? I actually don't plan on using this for fighting games :lol. If it matters.

If you have $100 free I'd get the full versions over the standard edition, better, authentic arcade parts inside.

Yeah, my only issue was that I was considering picking up Alan Wake as well, so I could save myself some cash by picking up the SE. I never plan on modding it, and only using it for arcade games like Pacman and metal slug, so would I really need genuine arcade parts?

Probably not. I've had my SE stick for a few months, and it's worked fine but I'm about to upgrade it because some comboing is becoming difficult with the squishy buttons.
