Crap rain and weird facial animations aside, I have to say that this is one of the first console launches where there is a title that is considerably a step up from the previous generation in terms of visuals.
It took until Gears of War on the 360, and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune on the PS3, before I felt that the next generation of gaming had really arrived.
Killzone: SF looks like it simply could not have been done on the PS3, first person shooter or not. GG is beast when it comes to gaming tech, and, much like with Killzone 2, it's going to be all the little things that they're doing that we don't even notice at first playthrough, but tickle our subconscious that makes this game above and beyond what we're getting on the PS4.
The point is, we're getting launch titles that look this good. We're going to be absolutely floored in about a year or two.
