Gamepads look awesome. Finally analog sticks! Now they won't be useless outside of fighting games.

Let's just hope that the triggers are decent. If so, I may bite.Gamepads look awesome. Finally analog sticks! Now they won't be useless outside of fighting games.
I think it's intended to be used with a claw grip. Hold the controller with your left hand and put your index/middle/ring finger on square/triangle/R1.
I'm assuming it'll have a retail price of $80 and have easily swappable parts like the SF4 Standard Edition stick did.
Nope, it's just the budget stick. Depending on the price, it may serve as a great sacrificial lamb for modders.

That's fair.He could swap out the buttons with Sanwas and it would still be cheaper than a TE2.
The Street Fighter V stick is most likely gonna be the TE2 with SFV-specific art.I was about to say.. I'm holding out on buying the TE2 to see how the SFV sticks turn out.
The PCB will probably be easy to mod into other sticks. Not sure about actually replacing things like the buttons or the joystick, though.I really hope that stick is easy to mod
None of the construction on that stick says easy swap. No accessible screws by the looks of it and no faceplate, NTM the thing is seemingly all plastic. The housing itself doesn't even look deep enough for standard stick buttons unless they REALLY jammed them in there.

I-it's at least coming with Sanwa parts at a reasonable price, r-right?Based on just the lack of face screws i can almost guarantee it isn't.
MarkMan left MadCatz?what the....
both look like crap.
Is this why MarkMan is leaving?

The budget stick looks great

Uhhhh, my ps3 sf4 tournament edition stick will work for 5 right???
because a PCB with wires already coming off of it is far easier to slap into a different controller than legitimately padhacking a PCB. Not to mention cheaper if you dont already have all the modding tools necessary for a padhack (barring the actual difference in cost between the stick and a pad)Why would you buy a stick just for the PCB? There's no way it's cheaper than a controller

Wow first time I've heard this..that makes me very optimistic!LabZero's PS3 stick driver is already being used in the PS4 port of SF4, and Capcom said they were looking into it. Reason enough to be hopeful.
