Resolution doesnt mean shit with N64 games, the issue is with the horrendously limited texture cache, lack of blending in fog and other effects and the graphics filtering which blurs everything in order to cover the stretched textures due to the limited cache
And 20fps max is still shit, especially when it drops to below 10fps in boss battles and in scenes such as those with black boes in Woodfall temple and white boes in Snowhead
Proof as I tested using the PAL version and FRAPS:
16fps max during any 3D or gameplay.
the save menu seems to run at around 50fps, oddly.
inventory runs at 24fps. right where framerate is most important!!

aw shit...and those are tests from scenes where fuck all is going on.
Anyone who willingly prefers to play the N64 version over the 3DS one needs their head looking at. Period. I think OOT3D alone proved that much.
