Looking good! Hope the randomly generated levels are varied enough for multiple play throughs!

Also, this reminds me of sharing a recent blog post that (I think) hasn't been discussed here. Talks about the rationale behind choosing a female lead.

3D support as well

HELL YES IT DOES. Daylight uses RealD3D, which is the same tech they use in theaters. There’s insaaaaaaaaaaaaaaane depth of field on it (source: I spent ~4 hours demoing it in 3D on Monday for Sony peeps).

Forgot about this. Kept getting confused between this and Outlast.
Looks interesting, I'm glad a lot of developers are taking a shot at survival horror.

Game seems like it'll be pretty mediocre from what I've seen and I'm certainly not convinced by the random generation but this is the first unreal engine 4 game that will be released right?

The original pitch had me more interested, I don't know, it now just has me thinking of Outlast. And the phone holding thing is getting so old.

Though it being one of the first UE4 games has me interested.

I'm struggling to get excited about this one tbh. It seems clunky and boring...plus chobot is involved which doesn't help. After the awesome outlast was free on PS+ i feel like this needs to be a PS+ offering too for me to even give it a go.

Outlast was a letdown to me due to scripded and repeated mechanics and tropes, so I am pretty hyped about this one.

It's a full retain game isn't it?

I always assumed it was, lol
Nah, it's digital only as far as i'm aware. I think i read it was like 25-30 minutes long, but encouraged repeat playthrough's due to the randomisation.

3D support? That means I'll have to check this out. Was disappointed to find out Outlast didn't support 3D.

Will there be a co-op component like Dead Island?
Edit: Wait..... I always get confused between this and dying light

Daylight, Deadlight, Dying Light - I'm getting really confused. Was hyped for a moment, because I thought it was Dying Light.

Whatever. Might buy but not so sure. Too much coming in march.

Yes! Loving the indie horror games. And Zombie will definitely get my money because Blacklight: Retribution is awesome and Anthony Gallegos works there

Between this, outlast, dying light, evil within, and hopefully Soma, next gen horror games are killing it this year.

Which is written by chobot...haha. Once will be enough i think. Which
makes a £10+ asking price kind of hilarious. It's PS+ freebie or nothing for me.

Give her a chance for fuck sake. Let's see how it actually turns out first.

I'm delighted they took away the left hand when not holding a light. Looked far too much like a Skyrim mage and was offputting.
