I want RE6 to be based in Japan or UK/USA because this is plane wrong on so many ways that they create games to kill people specifically from another country.

Now that we getting photo-realistic graphics, these type games seem bad, at least to me, why include Spanish and now Africans but why not whites from USA/UK or even Japnese? Even then it is wrong. As I see it, these fu***** are going go base RE6 in Asia next.

You know, after watching the individual elements of this trailer, this looks like Resident Evil 4: Somalia HD edition. I'm getting extreme Deja Vu.

Despite the increase in graphics and the location, this looks like a near carbon copy of Re4's village. I hope it's just a coincidence.

Looks amazing, i can't wait for the full trailer to come out. I seem to recall that the developers used "Black Hawk Down" as influence for the game.

Sorry. But isn't this the same trailer that surfaced (FOR A SHORT TIME) on GAF last year? I've seen this trailer before in a much smaller/darker/bootleg form.

Edit: oh, and I don't mean the trailer with the bats in the beginning that flutter away to reveal a bright desert setting.

Hm, RE5 sure is nice, but im rather disappointed by this trailer.
No troll at all, really, but everyone always said "RE5 on Wii? That´s impossible, dude", but this looks like a visual enhanced RE4, just another setting. Im sure the game will be awsome, but now i can see the game coming to Wii as well, without cutting away major contents.

Checkmark H264 decoding when its installing, You need to open it in windows media player or media player classic. Quicktime doesnt support the advanced features that x264 (the codec used for these) can use.

This isn't going to get banned because it's set in Africa, I'm not sure if it would even stir up much controversy. The Spanish setting in Re4 with the evil monks is easier to accept as fictional. This trailer, however, looks a lot closer to reailty and with the things that are happening in africa, I don't think I would feel as comfortable playing this game , just as I did when I watched 'Black Hawk Down' and it's distorted pr campaign.

RE5 could very well be the most controversial game of 2008. I expect this game to get a lot of negative press from the media.

Here is a place to get the RE5 Sony conference trailer which is way better than last nights piece. Also its in the Sizzle video on PSN, amazing on an HD set.

In that new video you see what could be gameplay scenarios. Chris on the roof of a bus, the villagers throwing ropes onto it to shake you off. In a cabin you see the villagers help and injured one and I guess run off for help. You see the axe guy destroying a barn like area, looks like chainsaw guy fight but x10.

The game will definetly follow the RE4 pattern closely, which I say is a great thing. I don't think it will be but if this game is like what RE2 was to RE1 it will be one of the best games ever. But after this game they should start thinking of changing it up a bit, I hope they don't run this formula into the ground.

This is Capcom we're talking about here. I love their games, but I expect the same basic RE4 gameplay (plus a few bells and whistles) for at least 3-4 more titles before they realize people will no longer put up with it. Then they'll come out with something amazing again.

I've followed the RE plot line closely.....other than his mysterious RE1 survival which was covered in the Wesker Reports (?); i dont ever recall it being hinted that Wesker was killed. Care to briefly fill me in?
