Ok, I'm not buying it. I love Street Fighter, but this game is so expensive.
But the biggest problem isn't the price, but the content.
HSFII for PS2 have OST from CPS1, CPS2 or 3DO available - this version have only CPS2 and weird remixes.
The worst part for me is the sound effects, they are insanely bad. So the new style options isn't viable because the sound effects are shit. (in HSFII the sound effects were based on CPS-I if you choose a character version from SFII ~ SFIIT or CPS-II if its from SSFII or SSFIIT).
HSFII also had different styles for each character. Ok, this made the game unbalanced, but c'mon, instead of creating these two new characters that nobody asked, they could made alternative versions from each character (like KOF 98). Could be "Ultra" and "Classic" versions.
Boy, even the opening is trash, they used that classic Ryu sprite + a brand new Evil Ryu's ilustration that is new and not made in pixel art. This is bullshit, it's poor, it's just lazy.
The biggest problem for me is that I would play with old style (graphics + sound) all the time, and 40 dollars for this? no thanks.
(and I would be wishing playing with CPS-I OST).

I think most of us will be on your side for this one. Whatever this game is, it is not a very good value. And non-hardcore folk who might be interested in it, probably won't be hooked in by this stupid looking waggle mini game (for the price they are asking).
Nobody wins here. There are innumerable older versions of SF2 that are far superior that a lot of us already own. This is not a very good way to treat Street Fighter 2.
