New Zelda U/NX artwork + E3 plans

I just realized by reading the two threads about Zelda, There's going to be so much disappointment. Everyone is asking for a different game that theres no way everyone is going to universally like what they show.

I think those leaks have gone from hopfullys to expectations for Zelda U.

You're saying that it won't be both empty and packed with content, won't have both ganon and not have ganon, won't have playable female Link and Zelda, won't focus more on combat and also ignore combat, and most of all- won't be like most like Skyward Sword and also most like TP and also most like WW and MM and OoT and LttP...?

It's fairly obvious that everyone likes very different things about the Zelda series, so everyone will have their own disappointments but they will also have their own surprises and things they're impressed with. And you can probably say similar things about fans of any series.

This isn't too interesting, but at least something while we are waiting. I had a look at the bg-hero.mp3 (background bird sounds) file on e3.nintendo.com. There's some meta data in that file, and a particular line (the one in bold) is quite interesting:

Not sure what MOCHA could be in this context. Jeremy being a web designer it could perhaps be the JavaScript test framework or perhaps mocha by Imagineer Systems. Or it's just a codename.

U-King/UKING could perhaps be part of the subtitle. Something with King in it anyway.

There you have it.

AEP files are just editing files for Audacity.
This looks to me like that path would just be where some audio editing files are placed and nothing else.
Why that line wasn't removed is a whole different thing, but I don't think it is of much if any significance to Zelda U/NX.

Yup. Wish for the stars but set your expectations low and you'll be fine. As long as you're grounded you can find joy in the game. If you hoped it would be something it'd not, you won't enjoy the game as much as it'll disappoint you at every turn.

Be happy with what they made, not what you wished they made. Appreciate it on its own merits.

Some more from meta data of other files:

From bg-treehouse.mp4:

Code:
<rdf:li xml:lang="x-default">cosmos_U-King.mov</rdf:li>

Code:
<creatorAtom:macAtom
       creatorAtom:applicationCode="1347449455"

       creatorAtom:posixProjectPath="/Volumes/Nintendo of America NY/Cosmos/NCL Final Asset/01_OZ-King-TP/01-02_cosmos_OZ-King_U-King_SS_1030/01-cosmos_OZ-King_U-King_SS_1030_USA.prproj"/>

Meta data of bg-zelda.mp4 does not include mention of this U-King, but has this:

Code:
/Users/jereca03/Desktop/MOCHA/5a_TEASER_video/01_Files/2_ARROW_clip/ARROW_clip_V3.aep

If Nintendo has that changed, then it really does have something to do with the title of the game.

Really though if these are video/music files then I would imagine these terms are referring to track names. Maybe the Underking or something is a boss? Maybe we explore the Cosmos on Pegasus-Epona?

I received word from a trustworthy source that U-King is the internal project name.

Doesn't King mean Gold in Japanese (or chinese?)

Maybe it's another Niji situation like Pokemon Sun/Moon?

Damn, me and every other girl is hoping for female Link and they go in the opposite direction with more macho stuff. FFS Nintendo.

Kinda /S. With all the hope of female Link the codename kinda makes me upset. :p..:(

So, /Users/jereca03/Desktop/MOCHA/_ASSETS_U-King/UKING video/01_Files/Loop_FINAL_V1_(AE).aep

jereca03 I believe is Jeremy Canceko: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jcanceko

Not sure what MOCHA could be in this context. Jeremy being a web designer it could perhaps be the JavaScript test framework or perhaps mocha by Imagineer Systems. Or it's just a codename.

U-King/UKING could perhaps be part of the subtitle. Something with King in it anyway.

There you have it.

I think either MOCHA or U-King might be the code name for the game, as I just remembered Trev's source at NoA had a list of internal NoA code names, some of which people confirmed in the respective thread at the time (iirc Torte City was one code name, Cadillac was another and there was N-STARS among others). Can't remember which was which but you get the idea!

Edit: Ah, cool! http://m.neogaf.com/showpost.php?p=206351729

Damn, me and every other girl is hoping for female Link and they go in the opposite direction with more macho stuff. FFS Nintendo.

Kinda /S. With all the hope of female Link the codename kinda makes me upset. :p..:(

Lol, if true, it's likely just a codename. Style Savvy's codename is 'Cadillac' and you don't drive anyone there.

Ya know... you could upgrade the ship in Phantom Hourglass and the train in Spirit Tracks... maybe you'll be able to purchase 'equipement' for Epona too?

Pegasus Hooves?

Or a Mystical Saddle? Golden Carrots? Maybe Link pulls a He-Man-type move and shoots magical energy from his Master Sword into her, allowing her to sprout wings. Dammit, I want this!

What Cosmos and OZ-King-TP mean in this context I don't know however.

Holy crap! Today's real megaton is that more than two people can have the same first name.
You know what this means guys. We'll revisit the Temple of the Ocean King ;)

I received word from a trustworthy source that U-King is the internal project name.
According to tcrf.net, Wind Waker HD's internal project name was also King (MM3D was Joker, OoT3D Queen and ALBW Jack).

Holy cow. I know it's weird but I'm REALLY fascinated by the web design of e3.nintendo.com. That's incredible stuff. What is this? Web 5.0? I don't see many websites that do this kind of interaction/flow.
