Eli Manning is the NFC Offensive Player of the Week after passing for 254 yards and four TDs vs Eagles

I wonder if McFadden won the Running portion of it.

It would be something if the GB/DET game on Thanksgiving would be a a battle between undefeateds.

NFC Thanksgiving Day Championship (part 1)?

I like the sound of that.

If anyone else likes 'dem advanced statistics (like me) DVOA ratings are up at Football Outsiders. Really though, until the opponent adjustments start to kick in fully after week four these don't mean that much (Lions will drop for beating up on KC, Bills will go up for beating NE).

I much, much prefer the stuff at Advanced NFL stats, for being number of more straightforward metrics. DVOA based on yards gained just feels ephemeral.

Considering he said the undefeated Packers/Lions, I would have guessed you could crack my enigma-level riddle.

True. Poor Pats if that happens though :( 6 wins - I mean, just awful for them.

Yeah buddy, I was at that game. Got to watch the monsoon live.

Born and raised in Buffalo and it seemed like that Pats totally handed us the win last week.

Granted, I loved every second of it, but minus those sloppy throws by Brady (and an absurd penalty or two) we didn't have a chance.

Those sloppy throws don't just happen. Quarterback play doesn't happen in a vacuum. Not with a guy like Brady.

The Bills D -- GASP -- actually made some plays.

so why does anyone care what AP's daddy said? I hope he starts doing chunky soup commercials like McRibb's mom did.

"My team sucks now but yours will too in like four or five years and that will be glorious!"
Nothing better than seeing the mighty fall. And I get the feeling that Rodgers is going to be a bad loser so the press conference following their shocking defeat to the Bucs or some other crappy is going to be saved to the HD!

Somehow Detroit would still make it boring.

Even when Detroit was at the depths of terrible (so, always) Packers - Lions Thanksgiving games are always amazing.

Mike McMahon still haunts my dreams.

And the dreams of Eagles fans as well

I actually completely forgot he went on to start for a couple of teams after that. All I ever think about is that Thanksgiving game where he was incredible. Tebow-esque in an NFL game. Just crazy.

He came to Philly and established Lofa Tatupu as his favorite guy to throw to.

Report: NFL seeks second London game

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell will seek approval from the league's owners to add a second London game to the regular season schedule next season, Sports Business Journal reported Tuesday.

The NFL owners are set to meet Oct. 10-11 in Houston and will vote on playing more games in the British capital in future years.

Tuesday's report indicates Goodell will press for the next proposal to be for two games as he continues his push to broaden the sport's appeal internationally.

The NFL is set to play a regular season game at London's Wembley Stadium for the fifth straight season Oct. 23 when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on the Chicago Bears.

Playing a game in London requires one of the two teams to agree to give up a home game. This year the Bucs will serve as the home team in London for the second time in three years.

The team lost 35-7 to the New England Patriots as the home team at Wembley in 2009. The Bucs' owner, Malcolm Glazer, also owns England's top soccer club, Manchester United.

In before angry Americans.

That was the most amazing Thanksgiving game I have ever watched. The comparisons to Favre were insane.

That's my guess but Brady sucks so Welker didn't get to win it...

Oh ya, maybe Fitzpatrick.

It's what is amazing about sports. I'll never forget that game. Mike McMahon has etched a permanent spot in my memory with a performance that was simply greater than himself. It was so bizarre. Like watching Joe Flacco have a good game.

The answer is Joe Flacco I was trying to rub it in all the haters' faces. Top 5 current QBs: Vick, Manning, Fitzpatrick, and Flacco

I got Romo winning the 2nd unanimous NFL MVP award.

Is this Torrey Smith guy for real? I was pretty impressed with his performance.

Rams corners (and the rest of the team) are dreadfully slow, but for some reason they didn't give over the top help against a 4.3 guy who can only run 9 routes.

He won't do that again this year unless he's playing a depleted secondary with bad coaches

btw I've been talked off the ledge regarding Bradford being crap. There have been QBs who have overcome shitty line play, and there have been QBs who have overcome shitty skill position players. But QBs don't excel when dealing with both.

The fear is that they'll turn him in to David Carr. He looked really down by the end of the game Sunday. And I just don't see it getting better. You can't scheme your way out of bad players.
