Good on him. I would like to see what he does outside of being in servitude to make MGS games. I really liked PT and ZOE but not a huge fan of MGS. I just don't like that style of game.

Just in time for Toyama to be done with Gravity Rush 2. Now that his hands are free, he can team up with Kojima, who will bring along Del Toro and Reedus to make their next masterpiece, "SIRENS"

Wow, didn't expect this (and kinda hoped he would go with Warner Bros or some third party publisher, tbh)

Need better source, we know he's leaving the SCE part seems a bit dreamy, not saying it won't happen but not this quickly...
We need a better source than Nikkei? I'm all for fact checking, but they're very reliable.

Kojima about to turn Sony into a pachinko company next.

It doesn't get any more reliable than this. It's the Wall Street Journal of Japan, if you will.
Yeah. If tradition holds, Nikkei will probably leak the first real details about NX in January or February and force Nintendo to announce that more details are forthcoming at GDC or E3.

Sony, Nintendo, MS are the worst places he can go because we won't see his games on PC. I would rather he go to a third party with money to spend.
I think it's likely that he is going 3rd party and is in talks with SCE for funding. In that case there probably would be a PC version just like there is one for Street Fighter V.

Agreed. I can't think of a reason why Sony would be better than going independent, other than fanboy bragging rights.

Ah, we are in for a treat next year with this news :).

Sony getting Kojima Productions and the man himself making exclusive PS games on the PS4? Sounds like a sure-fire way to make a lot of money.

Hopeful that it leads to Sony making Forest of Silence, Hills of Quiet or Foggy Hills next year for PS4 :).

Last time I need to say this I think: #FuckKonami.

I fucking called it...but then again so did pretty much everybody else. Kojima going to Sony just makes too much sense. It was never not going to be Sony. Either Kojima was going to retire, or go indie, but if he was going to get a big publisher backing, it was always going to be Sony.

Can't wait to see what we learn as this story develops.

Seriously though this is great news if true. Sony has spent two years focusing on getting hardware into homes. Now the epic games from Sony first party studios.
