That level alone has more of a demonic feel than all of DMC4 levels put together. I love DMC4 but the demonic atomsphere just wasn't there like DMC 1 and 3 had.

I will probably be clicking on this thread every three minutes until a demo is up.
I've watched this about 20 times now, plus I spent about an hour playing The Dishwasher...
I had the biggest grin while watching this trailer, and said "oh shit" quite a bit in-between the video here and there...
In other words, the video kicked ass. All sorts of ass.
The view of the level is huge and epic, the enemies are huge and they come running in from a mile away, there's hundreds of winded demons circling ahead, there's like five tall fiends with a chainsaw for one arm and a cannon for another - and a gigantic demon looming on the top of a tall pyramid/monument at the end of the path...
Does that phase the lone Ryu Hayabusa?
Hell no.
He just plows through everyone - decapitating, smashing, slicing, incinerating everyone in his path to get to the head honcho at the end...
So. Badass.
June will be a celebration for me - the month that my king of action comes out...
Seriously, my GOTY 2008 will contain a fierce, gore-filled battle between NG2 and Gears of War 2...
My only disappointment was how bad the compression was on the trailer - I guess it was done to lighten the file size - oh well - it was still the best 5 minutes of action I seen in ages...
I'm not going to bother spending too much time on same couple of guys that come in to say the same crap over and over again (no, not dark10x), that gets a bit tiring after a while...
And I read about the "coming soon" for the NG2 demo - the day that hits, everything else will have to be cleared in my schedule - that is all...
And oh yeah, the tonfas are siiiiick!

it's because Sigma doesn't look as good as this. why is there a console fanboy subtext to everything on this site. A lot of people don't care about consoles. it's all about games.

Well, I'm another one who's not that impressed w/ graphics. By no means it looks poor (quite opposite). But what I've seen, I'm quite excited to play this game - probably my most wanted game in 2008 by a mile over any other games in schedule including MGS4 and all!
There are games that I'd like to "see", and there are games that I'd like to get my hands on. This is more of the latter, which I'm perfectly okay w/.
