As far as I can tell you can't see Gamecube games on NOA's game database site, so if they had appeared there it would have been telling. But the UK site lets you search back through every system so it seems right in line with how they operate.

For what it’s worth, I do think GameCube games are coming. Only question is when (and that’s probably 2018).

How does severed run? I wanna pick that up for sure. I got that new slime game and finally picked up mighty gunvolt burst. Both are a blast. Nice breaks from splatoon

Runs great. I'm personally not a big fan of using my finger on the Switch's screen, but a cheap stylus like this works fine. Definitely a nice change of pace from other games.

Anyone download Gunbarich? I like Breakout-style games, and the idea of adding pinball to the mix sounds interesting.

It's fun if you like Breakout clones, which you said you did. It's a little hectic but not a bad game. I still find myself playing Strikers way more than this, lol.

Levels are rather bite-sized, but it's a fun and cute game.

You guys laugh, but I totally buy THPS3, 4 & THUG 2 on Switch GC. Loved those games! lol

The problem is that Activision no longer has the license for the Tony Hawk name, and I very much doubt they'll renew it.

How are you liking the game so far? Can you talk about it?

I'm enjoying my time with it. Took me a few minutes to adjust to the controls, but the music and sound of the game is really good. The game advises you to play with headphones, ha. Still have a lot more to play but it feels like a nice Switch release.

How similar to HLD is this beyond the visuals?

Is the game pretty linear?

Did we know Super Meat Boy was coming to switch? They just tweeted the menu screen on a switch.

Edit: Just noticed the topic on gaming side. My bad.

Never played HLD, so I can't compare. Thus far, it feels pretty self contained but I'm only about an hr into it. Could change as I make progress. I like how each weapon as its own level and by leveling them up you unlock new combo skills to use in combat - so the sword may need to be level 6, whip level 5, and the fists be level 6 to unlock a new combo skill.

Treasurenauts was announced for Switch together with Mutant Mudds in February. Let's see if it ever comes :)

Oh wow, you're right. I had forgotten about that.

They really need to sort an eShop front page out, how am I supposed to know games like Graceful Explosion Machine is on sale without just so happening to be clicking through every single game ever released

Indies can't be happy with their presence on the store at the moment once they get past the release period

Great to see Overcooked at no.1 in the UK chart, i'm having such a great time with my wife and 3 year old

Zonic

Gives all the fucks
Did someone ask for more Turbografx-16 games on the Wii U?!

Cuz we're getting Soldier Blade & Final Soldier in the US today.

...oh yeah, that Monster Hunter Stories demo is out today as well.

The Switch eShop is so boring, I can't believe they're happy to just leave it sitting there looking so plain. Especially because there is actually really good content going up on it on a very regular basis. They should be showing that shit off to the world!

I know we're just beta testing the whole system right now etc etc and yes I'd rather have had Zelda in March than wait for them to get stuff like a pretty eShop ready and only then launch it all.... but still.

Third game from the top left.

The best with that image is that a large amount of those indies are actually out now in August. On the Wii U, most indies got year-long delays, or weren't coming out at all.

That's a packed week indeed. Will wait for some impressions on Phantom Trigger and IRONCLAST to bite the bullet, as I'm going on vacation tomorrow.

Keep forgetting to sub to these threads lately. :(

This month is very good for me with Sonic and Mario+ Rabbids. Looking forward to diving into the Monster Hunter Stories demo later today too.

Honestly, given how many games get announced for Switch each week, I wouldn't be shocked if every week had this many games going forward. We're seeing long-announced indies get dates, arcade ports pop out of nowhere, weekly Neo Geo releases from Hamster, big 3rd-party titles rounding the corner and then the monthly first-party hits on top of that. I think it's going to stay busy for a long while.
