Nintendo E3 2017 Spotlight Thread: Not my problem. [Over]

What game are you most excited for?

I can't believe there is no news on virtual console for the Switch. I should have had SNES games day fucking one. Instead, we have no clue when they will appear and what form they will actually be. Just insane.

But, everything they showed looked good. Fucking hyped for Mario and Xenoblade. Good to see some actual shit for 2017 I'm excited for at this e3.

Maybe they will have some info during the rest of E3?

Granted, VC should have been in the box day 1, and if there is info coming out of this E3, it should have been included in their spotlight video.

Overall, this at least made me happy. Kirby and Yoshi are insta buys for the fiance and I to play together. Xenoblade looks anime af, but I'm probably in for that. Confirmation of Pokemon on Switch is great though not surprising and confirmation that Metroid exists makes me really happy. Mario also looks pretty great too.

Would have like to see some MHXX localisation news, but I'm really happy with what Nintendo showed. A couple of things to wet our appetites for next year, some dates for stuff this year and a few surprises. I had really high hopes for E3 this year and felt underwhelmed going into this thing today. It was just nice to be smiling at the end of one of these things this year.

Ah, the Nintendo Spotlight thread where everyone was losing it's mind and how Nintendo would have nothing new to announce.

Dear God, please eat all of your words guys. ALL of them. Delicious. Yes, some stuff is still a ways out and not shown. But a confirmation for a legit Metroid Prime? Kirby? Pokémon RPG confirmed for Switch next year? Cardboard Yoshi? Noone saw this stuff coming.

Amazing.
This is the most delicious crow I have eaten since we caught Zapdos.

What games did Nintendo show that was running on UE4? Because i saw the UE4 logo after the Mario trailer and im thinking no way the don't use their own engine for Mario.
I actually thought Odyssey -is- using UE4, and that would explain why the visuals are rough and shimmery since it's a very demanding engine.

However, maaaaaybe Kirby or the Rabbids game are UE4?

That looks so wrong.

This Mario gameplay we're seeing right now is middling. I like the hat idea, but this city.. not good.

I suppose Nintendo won E3 by virtue of having new games to announce whilst everyone else put on a poor display. But man, weakest E3 in years.

Was wondering if this E3 spotlight would convince me to go out and buy a Switch, but looks like there is no need to bother until next year at the earliest still.

Prefer a side scrolling Metroid but Prime 4 will certainly do.

Surprised to see Kirby and Yoshi games,

Core Pokémon RPG in the works for Switch 👍🏻

Mario Odessey looks interesting

Sad there was no Mario Maker, or anything about VC

Decent show

Only thing I'm sad about is no Animal Crossing or VC.

Ever since the delayed online a few weeks ago I figured no VC for awhile, but I was really hoping for some AC news. :(

Why is it taking so long?

That Yoshi game looked amazing!

Mario I had no doubt in.

Metroid Prime 4 !!!! but not by Retro?

So what is Retro even doing? Another DK game? Something else? Will it ever be shown?

Great conference in general. Hoping for a Smash direct at some point still this year... other than that I am completely satiated for now by what they've shown and what is coming shortly.

Gameplay looks good, but visually this seems less like Super Mario 64 or Super Mario Galaxy and more like Super Mario Bros: The Movie: The Game.

I'm satisfied. Easily the best showing as far as actual games and titles. And no Skyrim lol

Fucking Pokemon, Metroid, Yoshi, Kirby, Mario, ROCKET FUCKING LEAGUE.

Just want Mario maker and animal crossing now.

Edit: holy shit lol some of you are let down? The fuck
It was a little too quick, I needed more Metroid personally.

But yeah I'm actually quite satisfied.

I think Nintendo has other events they can announce stuff. I would rather have them spread stuff out instead of loading up at E3.

Yeah, STILL no VC information. I'm jumping off this ship and selling my Switch. Can't be bothered to wait 2 years for something to show up.

Why would you sell your Switch because of no VC (yet)? Did you buy a NEW console to play emulated games when anything they'll be releasing is already on the market with the Wii, Wii U, and 3DS?
