titles i am expecting during this direct:
-fire emblem x SMT
-new 3d mario
-mario kart
-super smash trailer
-x by monolith gameplay trailer
-yoshi yarn

Realistically, I think this is what we can expect to be there, and not much more, considering the time frame. I mean, with all the 3ds games announced, these above wii u games and some soon to launch wii u games which we know about already, like pikmin 3, W101 and rayman legends, and system summer update talk and other hardware/market number talk, they have more than enough to fill the direct already, the direct is only about an hour.

Mabey a surprise announcement lastly (presumably retro's new game) and some 3rd party support, and thats a wrap.
I think they are saving some other unannounced titles for the direct which is often being held in september, as they have more than enough to show already in this timeframe.

Altough I hope im wrong and they drop thos BOMBS cause I am HYPED!. However, all things considered, I would be satisfied with more trailers/information on the above titles

I bet they will end the direct with this: Oh, and don't forgot to attend our live software showcase with 20 unannounced games to play...and if you are at Best Buy, have fun with those games too...I hope your body is ready ;-)

Both had huge technical problems as well. Nintendo can still announce stuff outside of the Direct. Does it matter if Nintendo says they are lowering prices $50 in the Direct or on twitter afterwards?

Those talking about a Wii U price drop need to calm down and think. I'm going back and forth between excited and dreading today but a price drop to the same price as the PS3 and 360 makes no sense. The Wii U is better then those systems. Period. The true PS4 price isn't actually $400 but likely $450 as PS+ is required for any online play. Then the cost of the PS Eye is around $50. Which to use the PS4 to it's fullest is putting the price of entry right up there with the Xbox One. Think people. Sony just split up the package but I doubt it's "optional". You'll definitely encouraged to get the two remaining pieces. Especially when it comes to Plus.

I was having a bad day in general yesterday and it spilled over into gaming. I am feeling better but I still want Nintendo to deliver, need them to deliver, but at the same time I expect nothing from third parties at all. It's still looking like it's going to be the Wii U/3DS/PC combo.

I agree this isn't a normal Direct. However on the Wii U front I don't see how anyone can blame anyone for being wary. Nintendo has proven themselves time after time they are supporting the 3DS to the fullest. I know that started off slow but I never worried about my 3DS investment the way I do the Wii U.

All Nintendo Directs up till now have been around a half hour. Their previous E3 conferences have all been a hour and perhaps going over by a few minutes. All the sales talk, etc has been cut for the Nintendo Direct and moved to smaller events. An hour is more then enough time now that non-essential content has been removed. What they'll talk about is anyone's guess other then the three titles they confirmed will show up. An hour though isn't a little amount of time.
