Nintendo Switch Partners - Bethesda, Atlus, Capcom, EA, Epic, Unity, more

lol Konami

every time a console gets announced we get a picture like this... but things don't always quite pan out now do they?

To be fair, when Nintendo announced 3DS, they showed an image like that and all the developers there ended releasing games on the console, I thinks deals are already make by now.

Not falling for it. The switch being mobile is going to be a hurdle for AAA developers since it will not have the power nor full control scheme.

With game release now, prepare for dodgy ports

Sooooooooo we are getting every game that just about came out in the ps4/One era so far and skyrim remastered it looks like

im cool with that

At least we can safely say this should sell better than Wii U, so third parties might actually not be on the fence when it comes to making games for it...

What? Have you not seen the device?

It's more powerful than the Wii U.
It has all the control scheme

Wii U pumped out a similar list of partners and they all dropped off when the hardware underperformed and the player base didn't show up. Being a handheld hybrid probably only makes the former all the more relevant.

Sure, when docked the console probably has more power to offer but considering the entire gimmick is switching to handheld play on the fly, you can be damn sure there's a mandate in place that requires developers to include a handheld mode and that's sure to scare away developers from developing their big AAA graphical powerhouse titles on the system.

Finally , the Skyrim demo confirms finally Nintendo is doing the right way with western developers. The first Elders Scrolls game on a Nintendo console ever.

I just gotta say... Dragon Quest XI was already confirmed, but somehow it hadn't really clicked with me until I saw the Switch now.... Holy fuck is that going to be amazing.

Yep.

Up ported 3DS version my ass, it will get the proper deluxe PS4 version.

What's the control scheme lacking when in mobile mode?

505 Games, so I'm guessing Indivisible is coming to the Switch?

Also FROM SOFTWARE PORTABLE SOULS AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I kinda expected nippon ichi tbh, they seem to still want to do handheld games and sony simply won't provide them with such opportunity in the futur.
