Ahh thanks a bunch! So in a sense, I can carry myscrub casualRL friends once I already finish the game? Assuming my level will be scaled down to their level range?
Yeah, but the levels won't scale at all.

I've been trying to kill Nue for like an hour now. Really don't know why I haven't gotten it. It's attack sequence looks pretty simple. Sometimes I'll be hitting it as it crumples with no stamina then instantly it transitions into some attack and stun-locks me and I die.
Overall I'm dying a lot more to these bosses than I care to admit. I more or less sleep walked through all of DS3 and Bloodborne (not the DLC did it on NG++) and these early bosses are fucking me up. Somethings different between the two but I can't put my finger on it.

Is there a list on at what points you get a new skillpoint at the blacksmith?
Just spent the last 2.5hours farmingfor his armour, Most of the purple versions dropped quick, but those damn pants took so long..Used up all of my gold Soul matching them up to 73..which is weird since I'm only lvl 63.Ii Naomasa

They can also drop the smithing text if you ever want to craft it again at a higher level in the future.
Soul Match is a waste of gold for armour sets. It's better to get the smithing text and forge from there.
So... Any tips for Invitational From The Warrior Of The West?
Must be a tiny chance, 25-30 kills with no text. Might give it a go later on, he's a very easy kill.

A boss glitched through the floor, now I can't collect my rewards and go forwards lol

Yup just did, ugh gotta kill him again.Close the app and restart the game. I had that problem twice this morning on a sub mission
From the past, the code is on the receipt. Eh I don't normally buy games at GameStop. if it's like any other place, as long as you have the receipt and unopen copy, you can return the game without any issues. You can also use the code and they won't care as well.Does anyone know if I had a preorder at GameStop and I buy the game to get the dlc code for a friend... I bought the deluxe pan preorder... can I return the game to GameStop still? From my understanding the code will print on the receipt
Your actual opponent in this boss is the stage. Half the time, you will bump into some wooden crap or those two tree garden square things that are in the stage for no good reason.
That said, I think his most annoying attack is his claw lunge, which comes in about 3 variations:
1 punch, 2 punch, 1-2 punch into spin dash.
It's kinda tedious, but you should probably only go in during spin dash recovery, though he recovers from that quickly, so don't get to greedy (1-2 hits at most?).
Lighting from above is always prefaced by a roar and then 4 bolts that track, so just run around towards the enemy and get 2 hits in during the 4th bolt and back off.
His crumple mode has an AOE (I think?) where he gets stamina back, so I recommend only doing like one combo to the end and then backing off.
He has that thing where he jumps in the air or something and ends up on the floor like an idiot, so attack his belly during that until he recovers.
He also has that lightning attack that sweeps in a cone in front of him. Attack from the side where he starts the attack so you can get a few hits in as he sweeps to the other direction...
Of course, this assumes there isn't random crap in the way and you can get at this side :v
I think what happens a lot in this game is that we get lulled into a false sense of security because of how good the movement and animation cancelling is... at the end of the day, you're pretty much safer by just being conservative with your combo strings (it's only really during a crumple where you can get to the end of the chain guaranteed without some random bullshit happening).
That said, I feel like this is a good problem to have: the controls are actually so good that you possibly get complacent lol
I'd rather have that than shitty controls fucking things up.
Yeah I could probably stand to be a bit more conservative. It does have a fuck ton of health like Also like SkylineRKR said. Hit and run it is. Going from a medium combo to heavy stance and doing the full kusarigama twirl of death feels so good thoug
That was perfectSorry if you wanted more/help on tachi, i tried to only butt in when he was gonna rip you.
Third area, thelevel. Is there anything worth dropping down the hole for?spider
Yup just did, ugh gotta kill him again.
What weapon type are you folks using? I messed around with spears for a bit, and they seemed okay but I got a bit annoyed at using them in tight areas. I kept hitting walls and bouncing off. :X
How are you guys farming the the thousands of glory needed for skins? Fighting revenants just gives me 30 and, maybe, 60 for those in a different colour clan. Also anyone have a picture of theskin?revenant
I'm sure it's already been stated at least once somewhere in this massive thread, but it bears repeating. Any passive you pick from any particular weapon tree that does not have a requirement of using that weapon in the description, can be used with all weapons. E.g +100 health, if your health is at 30% or lower, damage dealt to you is reduced by 20%, or +6% close damage while at full health, +6% damage to enemies at full health, +5% damage to enemies from behind etc. You can make some pretty crazy builds this way.
Just help someone in coop. I did one mission and got 800 glory.

Same situation for me, and i think that's because of my stamina management.
Kind of hard to explain, but his melee breaking the pagoda walls (if you can call them that) is what allows you to enter it. However, there are still 4 wooden posts holding the structure up, as well as the roof that prevents the 4 string lightning attack from hitting you. What I essentially did was get Nue to stick his head between 2 of the 4 posts of the structure (of course, he can't fully enter the pagoda). This makes it so it is very difficult for his melee swipes to hit you (thanks to the posts), as well as his melee roll doing nothing, and the aforementioned 4 string lightning attack being a chance to spam attack him. Only thing you have to worry about is his lightning beam, which you use as an opportunity to leave the pagoda and hit him a couple times, then enter again. Using the strategy for the whole fight he barely moves--he stays just outside (with his head kinda between) 2 of the supporting beams of pagoda.

2 Kodamas
Where can I get hank of yokai hair for the raging bull set? I'm on the 3rd mission.
Thanks
Flying Bolt yokai enemies, you can check the Yokai Illustrations in the Amrita Memories menu to see if you've fought them yet.
