No More Heroes coming to PS360 (confirmed)

>>Exactly<<! The ending made that pretty obvious imho.
Wow Destructoid did a great job with that, and I came away highly impressed with both the game and their writing. I had realized that these binaries existed within the game, but I never was able to consciously apply them to real world entities.

Not exactly, in the bloody version you are still able to change the color of the blood I believe.

Yeah but some people don't have self control, and just like save anywhere, they don't want to have the option for gore in front of them.

Right the terrible gameplay was there to make some post modern commentary on gaming or some shit

right.
I'm not defending NMH or anything because frankly I lost interest in it after the third or fourth boss battle but I seem to remember some people thinking that IntSys doing basically the same thing in SPM was the best thing ever.

does someone know the name of the song that's playing in the background? (in the trailer)
thanks in advance ^^

There was only one part in the game where it was intentional, though.

::whistles innocently::

Trailer was a bit underwhelming, screens made it look better than it did in motion.

But anyway, I've said enough on the subject as is.
At the least, hopefully it'll spur interest in Desperate Struggle!

Speaking of which, that's what they should be releasing more media on :(

Isn't that a little bit unnecessary? Why go out of the way to neuter one version but preserve the other?

360 is the otaku console where CERO Z might not be a problem, PS3 is more mainstream?

Looks like the Wii version with effects turned up to high. Nothing really wrong with that I guess, the original has great character models.

Also NMH is one of my favorite games this gen, and I put it on equal grounds with Mario Galaxy, despite the latter being FAR more polished. I will be the first in line to shout out the many, many things wrong with the game, but the story, art direction, characters and gameplay mechanics clicked with me. It didn't with MadWorld, which I found extremely boring. Simple as that.

NMH2 was in Famitsu a couple of times, so it`s obviously coming out in Japan.
OK, the way things are going for these type of games for Wii in Japan I thought it might be true. There's always a chance the HD port and used sales of NMH Wii might raise expectations for NMH2.

There is literally no release planned for the game in Japan as of right now. That could definitely change in the near future, but it's currently a Western-exclusive title.

Though, if this game does take off in Japan (as unlikely as that is), then it could mean the sequel would sell pretty well.
We'll see, though.

Ok so blood is confirmed for 360.

One more piece of the puzzle. Is it dual language? I'd settle for English tracks, or English subs. Either one. Please, please, please.

Oh and this is strange. Will not let me download the trailer off Xbox live marketplace... even though my console is Japan region. I have never had this problem with a free videos. I mean it lets me download Steins Gate and Dream Club C vids what the hell is going on here?

I do hope it is dual language; the English VA was absolutely perfect for the game, but I guess it'd probably do better in Japan if it had voices they knew and understood.

I'm importing day 1. I don't see why it wouldn't be included, but confirmation would be nice.

I didn't see the trailer posted, watched it for the first time right now. Ya know, when this was first announced my head exploded with excitement and joy. Watching the trailer, I was saying to myself that this is the exact same game. Even though there's the graphics boost, I can just play the first one right now if I wanted to. I think I'll double dip on this one anyway since I am a big fan, but I really hope they add extra content.

Should we expect an american release any time soon?

There's still no news as to who will publish the NA edition + it's not even out in Japan yet (2/25/2010)

So I would say...probably not anytime "soon". >.>

Been playing through this game again in anticipation for NMH2. Forgot how much I loved this game and will probably import the HD version if it's region-free.

BTW am I the only one who thinks a NMH movie directed and written by Quentin Tarantino would be totally awesome?

Yes. You are.

doing the wrestling moves with L3 and R3 and doing the spinning motions by spinning the controls sticks just seems... much less fun than the wii motions. i really want to double dip with this version, but I dunno. I really hope they give us more of a reason to, like an extra boss or something.

The boxart is very nice (the Japanese Wii one is still better, I even printed it out for my US version), what really makes me angry is the PS3 version being censored (see the different CERO ratings) :/

awesome box-art!
can anybody tell me why the 360 and ps3 versions have different ratings?

edit: question already answered. thanks Jocchan.

but why would they censor only the ps3 version?
