Yup, it was terrible. Winamp 2 is lightweight and minimizes down to nothing, so it's still installed whenever I rebuild a PC.

Seriously, what a wonderful piece of software this was. Struck a perfect balance between being accessible for kids and deeply customizable. It starts you off just giving tips on making basic, crappy stuff, but you discover things on an almost daily basis to make your movies better and better.

There was a good 2-year period where my brothers, cousins and I were all using it and making movies. Sharing our movies and making new stuff was one of the things we always did when we got together in the school holidays.
