God I hate the Spurs. They're like the NJ Devils of the NBA. All of their games are just brutal. Someone has got to do something about the Spurs and the Pistons for the good of the NBA.
 
i think their team colors and arena has a lot to do with it. looking at their colors reminds me of the raiders and that's depressing.

The Pistons looks like the Warriors when I switch over from a Spurs game.

I've watched every possible playoff game and am tempted to just play Catan until 10:30.

i never quite understood this logic. IMO I'd rather see a team make a shitload of extra passes to find the open man, than watch a team who's entire offensive strategy involves having one player bring the ball up the court dribble around for a bit and then jack up a 3. How is that exciting?

Then again, I'm a Spurs fan so I'm obviously biased.

Man, can you imagine playing a turn based board game with Popovich? The damn thing would take a week.

h1nch, I'm a Pacers guy so I certainly appreciate a slow pace and good defense. But the Spurs take it to the next level. It isn't about "making the extra pass." They move with a nerving lethargy that makes me want to scream. Arg!

Plus, Timmy is the least likable superstar of all time. And I'm included a rapist and murderer in that list above Tim.

Just to defend my fellow mavs fans, that was staged.

What they do is...

They have that guy try the trampline dunk and fails miserably.

Then they have this guy dressed as an old guy. He refuses to do it since he saw what happened to the other guy. He finally agrees to try it and then does all these crazy dunks.

They've done the same skit several times.

Here's a question - how can the NBA make the regular season worthwhile? I love the NBA but I just don't care about the regular season at all. I watch my Pacers/favorite players, but I don't care who wins or loses. I don't care about stats or streaks or anything. It's just mindless entertainment until the playoffs start.

How can the NBA make me, a diehard, lifelong basketball fan, actually care about the first 82 games? I honestly have no idea.
 
The only way would be by lowering the amount of teams that make the playoffs. When over half of your teams make the playoffs, the regular season means less and less.

If you don't enjoy the reg. season, I don't think you love the NBA that much. I'd hate it if there were less games. What they need to do is make the schedule balanced...

I watch it but I don't care. Like last night, I was screaming and marching around my apartment. I was really into that game. During the regular season I wouldn't have even got off the couch. It's a different sport. When the games don't mean anything it's hard to care about the outcome.

It is a little ridiculous that more than half the league makes the playoffs, but if the league plays 82 regular season games but only allows 8 teams to make the playoffs, you're stuck with even less playoff action.
 
Baseball only has 4 teams in the postseason. Why can't they do the same with basketball? 1/2 the league making the playoffs is a joke.

You took the magic away from that scene for people who dont follow everything the Mavs do during breaks.

I cant look at the vid or the gif Dm posted the same way ever again :(

So I guess rumors are about that the Raps are looking at the coach of the Euroleague's reigning champs to come over and save them from Smitch. If that happens I don't think I can call the Suns the Euroleaguers anymore. :lol :lol
 
This game is a clinic in bad shooting.

I was on the phone and heard the crowd erupt and I assumed the Spurs were finally pulling away......nope it's a 5-point game.

The game does AI profiles. Pop should be a secret AI that starts his trades by offering 1 sheep for 5 bricks + 5 ores, then makes it 5 bricks + 4 ores when you reject him and so on until he's out of combinations.
 
The worst thing for the Nuggets that could happen was AI hitting those 2 3's in a row because now he's just going to continue jacking up any and all shots.
