I just rather enjoy rooting for a guy who isn't complete scum (a certain kale eating person comes to mind) I'm not blind, I see that he constantly grounds out to second. no pop in the bat and lost a step.
HOWEVER, you also have to see that this year nearly the whole line-up is anemic.
if it isn't a home-run we don't do jack shit.
so to single out Jeter is just missing the point that this team as currently constituted can't go far this year (far meaning world series)
