Those will still arrive, though... it's just a delay. I thought you were talking about something never arriving on one or the other.

Fuck NOA up the arse. The EU list is better, and it doesn't look like that's changing.

I bet the EU store will get Majora before the US store does too.

Grass is greener.

I'd trade Phantasy Star for Secret of Mana.

That will be a grave, grave day. I have been waiting for Majora for ages, given that the Collector's Disk is crashy.

I suppose there has to be SOME reason to NOA/NOE releases. At the moment I can't really figure out what it could be... NOA has shifted heavily to WiiWare.

Apparently, the collector's disc isn't crashy on Wii for some reason. You should try it and then tell me.

My little sister would beg to differ about that point, given that her game crashed multiple times.

I doubt it. Of course who would've ever guessed we'd get Sin and Punishment?

In the EU, but not US list, you're missing Cue Sports: Snookers vs. Billiards from the WiiWare category - although I sort of doubt it's a priority for NoA. Other than that, the list is spot on. I overlooked Clu Clu Land in my own personal notes, so it's nice to double check and see I almost had everything covered. :D

I'm sure it will hit eventually. North America probably didn't get it at the same time as Europe thanks to Picross DS, but I doubt that consideration will indefinitely hold up release.

Damn, forgot about that one. I guess it slipped by me since it's confirmed for an eventual US release. It's added now.

Where has that been confirmed?

Nmn, I just found out that it's being released in North America as Pool Revolution: Cue Sports. Probably because no one in America has ever heard of "snooker".

I'd trade everything we have for non-shitty 60hz versions.

Look, to be blunt, the games we're getting? In most cases, they're not the games you know. They're massively neutered; a throwback to the dark days when Europe just got what was necessary to make the game run and no considerations beyond that.

I envy you, actually getting to play games the way they're meant to be played. You really don't know how lucky you are.

Well there goes that supposed fix! I figured as much, so I didn't bother trying.

I know. Disappointing... I wish there were a way to predict the crashes, but there doesn't seem to be a way.

I also wish it were possible to "import" save files from GC Zelda/etc. titles to VC ones.

Mine would almost always crash if I left the canyon dungeon. And I don't know where my N64 version is. Come on Nintendo!!! I want to play the game glitch-free and legally

EU VC update:

-Boogerman (MD)
-Impossible Mission II (C64)
-Last Ninja 3 (C64)

Last Ninja 3 is amazing, will get it ASAP as I have 1 and 2 as well :D

Oh shit. Time to buy some Wii Points. Last Ninja 3 finally!!

While I'm here. Can someone explain to me why people are making such a big deal over games not being available in their region? I mean, I'm in Aus and by everyone elses complaints should be crying that I can't buy C64 games. But you go into system settings and change the region and by some magical power, I can access all the games I want.

So, what's the deal?

Buy Last Ninja 3!

MUSHA has aged rather poorly I think. It's great on a first date but then you notice that it has no depth, has really weak pacing, isn't challenging until the very end(even if you play without continuing like any normal shooter), and the sub-weapon system is lousy.

It looks and sounds good though and it'll be nice having the game for a non-ridiculous price(Leave it to collectors to consider a poor game worth something and leave the good ones to remain at total bargains. To compare it's not uncommon to get a mint copy of Thunder Force IV for around $20, though you'll likely pay at least double that for a copy of MUSHA..cart-only)

Alien Crush Returns has had a new update - new special ball added and an extra stage for story mode (haven't had chance to try it yet, don't know if it is all new or just a variation on one of the existing stages, was very quick to download).
Anyway, good to see that Hudson are as good as there word on the continuing support front. Hopefully, it will encourage more people to buy the game.

Did you happen to have any stored points before changing your region? If you did, did you notice that after you changed regions they were gone? If you didn't then that's what happens. That is why the rest of us Aussies can't just change our country, as it's almost impossible to change region without losing our prepaid points.

This is true, at least when I did it over a year ago. But I thought they fixed that later on down the line?

I'm probably wrong though. But still, I didn't mind losing a few points so I could download C64 games. It's not like Australia gets extra games that other countries don't get right?

Only 1 VC game has been released in Australia but not Europe: Axelay for the SNES. It was released in Australia on October 12, 2007 but has not been released in Europe.

Extra -stage-?

I'm fully behind an update like that, but i can't believe Hudson would actually ADD that... the game is pitifully short as it is.

WII-KLY UPDATE: TWO WIIWARE GAMES AND ONE VIRTUAL CONSOLE GAME ADDED TO WII SHOP CHANNEL

Dec. 15, 2008

Time may be getting tight for holiday shoppers, but the selection and excitement at the Wii™ Shop Channel just keeps on growing. There's no simpler way to access a brilliant variety of new and classic games, and they're all available for download directly to your Wii console-no ribbons or wrapping paper required. This week's additions bring a fresh mix of challenges for new and experienced players to enjoy: Slay a dragon in the season finale of Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People, solve a multiplayer puzzle or race the clock on an arcade-style motorbike course.

Nintendo adds new and classic games to the Wii Shop Channel at 9 a.m. Pacific time every Monday. Wii owners with a high-speed Internet connection can redeem Wii Points™ to download the games. Wii Points can be purchased in the Wii Shop Channel or at retail outlets. This week's new games are:

WiiWare™

Strong Bad Episode 5: 8-Bit Is Enough (Telltale Games, 1 player, Rated E10+ for Everyone 10 and Older-Mild Cartoon Violence, Comic Mischief, Mild Suggestive Themes, 1,000 Wii Points): Trogdor, the beefy-armed dragon of legend, has shaken free from his video game and is running through the countryside, "burninating" everything in sight. With a dragon on the loose and 8-bit classics leaking into the real world, it's all fun and games until the proud land of Strong Badia falls to Trogdor's fiery wrath. Now Strong Bad must take back the night by sending this scorching menace back into his arcade cabinet once and for all. Just one problem: Does anybody know how to kill a dragon?

Big Kahuna Party (Reflexive Entertainment Inc., 1-4 players, Rated E for Everyone, 700 Wii Points): Embark on a tropical adventure with the explosively charged Big Kahuna Party. Looking to make the ultimate party game, we started with a concept that's accessible to the whole family-the popular match-three game. On top of that, we crafted a unique multiplayer experience in which you can choose to work together to complete the challenging levels before the timer runs out, or go head-to-head and compete in a frenzy of fun. To top it off, we added 99 uniquely free-flowing levels, the challenging Tiki Pole, 20 hidden tropical sea creatures to unlock, the strategic Fish Net and more. The result is a family party game like no other, easy to pick up but impossible to put down. Play alone or with friends, and unleash the Tiki spirit within.

Virtual Console™

Enduro Racer™ (SEGA Master System, 1 player, Rated E for Everyone, 500 Wii Points): Based on the popular SEGA arcade game and redesigned for the SEGA Master System, Enduro Racer takes you on an intense set of adrenaline-designed courses containing diverse and rough terrain that will test your skills and reaction time. Ride as fast as you can to pass as many cars and bikes as possible while also avoiding obstacles and pitfalls such as debris on the road. Take jumps off ramps and try to keep your speed up, but make sure to keep an eye on your bike so it doesn't blow up in your face. Are you ready for the challenge?

Doesn't look good at all. Let's see what have they planned for WiiWare this friday in Europe.
Strong Bad Episode 5 and Orbient are practically confirmed. My guess for the rest is Niki: Rock 'n Ball and maybe, just maybe World of Goo.

Why in the name of fuck have we not received MaBoShi yet?
Developer tells me you'll probably get it with the last update of 2008, but nothing's 100% confirmed

Europe will get Niki: Rock 'N' Ball on Friday - from BPlus for 500 Wii Points (pretty cheap). And I hope Europe gets World of Goo this week <- instant buy.
