Tonight's the night. Or so I hope. I'm anticipating the fancy new items more than anything else. I doubt anything will overcome the Chasm mask, but we'll soon see.

Not too big on the armour. I combined the mask with the Highwayman's coat (because I'm oh so original), the Knothole Knight guantlets, boots and breastplate, some random trousers and - wait for it - a top hat! I am evil personified.

Doing my second playthrough now, but wow it's a lot more rewarding to actually choose the Temple of Light's side. You can buy it as real estate, and Oakfield has become a lot bigger. Choosing the Temple of Shadows side doesn't really help for anything.

Yesterday, my character got fed up with being goody two-shoes and started embarking on a journey to the dark side. The Demon Door inspired him to take that path, so now he has fallen from grace. Kind or weird, owning the temple of light and being an evil-doer. Kind of like the catholic church.

Finally got it... and completed it fully. Very good DLC though, and I have one character still to play it through with and may start a new game with another.

I think I'll commission an entire new set of statues now that
I'm really King of Albion.
Threaten or Heroic Pose? Maybe Point and Laugh or Play Dead. I'll mix it up.

I thought the glimpse into the future was pretty cool actually. It wasn't a glimpse into the third game like we were expecting, but it was cool. The new dog breeds are cool. I changed mine into a Husky then a Bloodhound. The Husky's red eyes were unsettling me.

Oh, and by the way;
as soon as I got back from the Colloseum, I made sure that heir was born. He'll continue my legacy alright. "Personality: Evil and Aggressive" - my kind of heir.

Yeah the dalmatian looks awesome. He doesnt look cool if you're evil though. I had to donate like 100k to the temple of light to purify myself and be holy just to make my dog white.

No not much reason at all to go back there. The dungeons are fun if you want to fight some enemies though. The combat in the game is fun. I've only been using raise dead and inferno but I think I'm going to start using something else on my next character.

Did you get that gun that looks just like the halo AR? You get it on knothole island. It's not very effective but it looks awesome. The red dragon (one you get in the westcliff shooting range) is the best imo

No, didn't get the AR.

Where do I get it?

there's a gift shop when you get to knothole island. Up on the right side as soon as you arrive in the village. The lady in there has a bunch of boxes that contain potions, armor, weapons/loot and she'll give them to you in exchange for stuff. You have to give her obscure things like carrots, celery, crunchy chicks, etc. Basically you have to go on a treasure hunt for the stuff she wants to get the boxes. They have really nice loot and armor.

That's the only other thing to do on knothole other than the 3 dungeons. It actually takes longer since you have to go all over albion to find the things she asks for.

edit here's a link detailing it somewhat, I'm at work can't really browse the web freely

Had this since launch and have not TOUCHED it yet. Except for the stupid pug games thing, I haven't really even followed this much.

About to dive in right now.

Any suggestions/comments before I start? Any words of encouragement? Warnings?

I want to build a solid character, HATE starting games like this only to later 5 hours in that I won't have a solid character unless I start the game over or create another on a separate playthrough.

I'll probably buy this some day!!!

I really liked the first even if they never hit the hype. I'm just... stingy this gen. I really like my pot, and it allows me to enjoy my games continuously.

Just wondering does this have a hard finish after the main quest like Fallout 3 or can you go back and do more of the side quests? I am assume the latter but just want to make sure.

You are put right back in the game world to carry on side-quests.

How did most of you go about buying property? Wait until the end or dig right in? Also, I just started a game with all DLC and completed the first quests for both Knothole and See The Future. Do the new quests for those not come up until the story is finished?

OK, I just got this game recently. I just bought some property and moved into one, I then moved into the Ogre Place in Browerstone Market, but now I've decided to rent out the place. I still don't have any tenets, though. Does anyone know how long it takes before you get a tenet?

I'm no longer on the side of evil. :| I was getting annoyed walking through cities only to have everyone run away from me. I was so lonely! That and it's impossible to get attention of the ladies anywhere except those from Bloodstone or some merchants. I unlock new expressions into Good standing, right?

I find it much annoying to have people following me around, to be honest. I had to murder a bunch of people as my good guy because they trapped me in a room.

You didn't think to...quick-travel somewhere else within the town you were in?

Just throw yourself in. Bit of a waste of money if you bought it at launch and are just playing it now though, no?

Well my brother has played it, so it's not been a complete waste or anything.

Either way, I wouldn't mind. I like Monyleux, and I want MS to maintain at least SOME of their first party, so I'll buy their games when I can.

Just started playing this a few days ago. Is the next main story part after "The Crucible" really a point of no return for side quests and such? Seems to have happened way, way earlier than I was anticipating.

Only for a select number of quests, the main ones off the top of my head are

The temple of light/Temple of shadows and the 'investment' in the area where the crucible is located

just picked up an elite for the new ufc game specifically, but I was really surprised by how much i liked fable 2. I feel like ive been rpg deprived for a long time, and this really hooked me. i mean, when you chop wood for like half an hour and your still havin fun with the game, you cant beat the price. Free!!

Well, started this a few days ago...I'm too embarrassed to post how many hours I've gotten in in such a short amount of time, lets just say that for SOME reason, I can't put the controller down.

I say that because even though it's very compelling, some of the design flaws are blatantly obvious. An entire section of town falling in love with you because you spent 5 minutes entertaining someone for a gift? 3 to 4 people following you around, INSIDE your home, getting in your way when your dog finds a treasure? No boundary on the amount of times you can use your magic?

:lol

Feels like a mix of Zelda and The Sims, with the Zelda stuff being a lot better than the "Simmy" aspects.

But I'm glad I finally started playing it. I'll certainly beat it. The voice acting is surprisingly very good. I'm not that far yet, but as of now, I think that the Hammer character is worth noting. As annoying as she is, I found her chatter during that wellspring mission added a lot to the immersion..actually made an escort mission seem like I was actually escorting a real person.

Did they get the same women that did Krei from Kotor 2 for Theresa? Did she also voice a character in Dreamfall:TLJ? I swear Theresa sounds very very very familiar to me.

Anyways, what I really came here for was to ask if there was some sort of free look command. It's the ONE thing that REALLY irks me right now, I feel as though it's a very beautiful game, but like most third person games that lack a free look, I feel as though I'm missing out on a lot of details because I simply can't look at them. I mean, I would at least like to get a good look at the women I'm sleeping with, without having to back away and spin the camera around in a weird angle and all that stuff.

I wish I knew how to get the dollcatcher achievement. It's like the only one I can't get. I read online you are supposed to trade with people to get it? trade what?
I hate achievements like this because I don't know anyone else besides me that likes this game.

Any Fable Pros in here that could help me out with this? I could give back any items you give me straight away. It just bugs me having this one lousy achievement sitting there incomplete. haha

Unless I'm totally misunderstanding what it is you're asking, I believe holding LB puts you into a free look mode or something.

Ok so I started my quest to get all of the dolls. I got them all except for Reaver. Does anyone have an extra Reaver doll they dont need? I could trade all the other dolls for it or whatever. Cheerio.

Can You Imagine What SureAI Is Going To Do With Garfield?
I'm towards the end of the game. I just reached the
Tattered Spire after fleeing with Reaver and gang and defeating the Great Shard.

I have questions, although. One that I hope I didn't mess up.

The first time I was brought to the Tattered Spire, I kept my will up refusing to partake in this missions that pinhead-looking guy was trying to give me. I never gave in and ending up spending ten years in the damn place but eventually escpaed with the wizard hero. Was there another way to get through this without becoming evil?

Also...

Where do I find all the stuff for the Goth Achievement? I got the black dye but can't find the rest of the stuff I need for the achievement.

re the Goth achievement. All you need is the 'Moonless Black Dye'.

Then dye everything black - shoes, pants, shirt, jacket, helmet/mask. Then go to a salon and get makeup that has black in it. (black/red, black/purple, whatever).

I did it last night and wore the assassin outfit. Then dyed every item in the outfit black then put on a pauper shirt and dyed it black and put the Hal helmet on and died it black. Also, dye your hair and beard black.

So does anyone know of other DLC coming/announced/hinted at?

I've been getting a lot of PMs and XBL messages with people asking me to help them get the Colourist achievement. Unfortunately, you can't trade any of these See the Future dyes with other players; you have to earn them yourself.

Here is how you get the last dye:
Strawberry Blonde Hair Dye: First you need the Wizardly Bear to get him walk along the side of arena when out of combat and over to a telescope on a dais(stand). read the inscription the turn around and face the moon start firing your gun at the gargoyle statues underneath the moon one of them will release the bear right into your inventory.
The King Bear is behind a locked door next to two unlit candle holders. Light them up with a fireball to unlock the door and claim the bear.
The AAA Bear is the hardest of the group. You need to score exactly 1985 in Colosseum points to unlock him. The easiest way to do this is to make sure you do not pick up any multiplier flits or kick any chickens kill all enemies until you reach the point where only bandits are spawning. Now kill all non-bandits, and save your game. Start fighting the bandits and when you manage to get an 85 as your last two digits stop killing them and take a step back.

Is there anything that can't be done after
recruiting the Reaver guy? (hero of skill)
. The game lets you do side missions after the story ending as GTA does, right?

I've been trying in vain to land on 1985 and I just wanna give up.

How can I be good at games of chance but fail miserably at this simple task? :lol

You know what is weird? I got that third bear without even doing that 1985 thing. I got 2 of the teddies and when I booted up the game the next time it just popped up saying I got the third teddy for no reason! I guess I got got lucky?

(still looking for a reaver doll!) :D

Sort of the same for me. Got the third bear just by playing through the Colosseum after getting the first two. Almost positive I didn't land on exactly 1985.

I think my game is broken to the point of me needing to start over.

I have about 4 quests that I have completed, but they still show up in the quest menu. Also, I have a permanent Westcliff Shooting Range score box in the bottom right corner of the screen as well as an A-button affixed to the top of the screen permanently.

Now whenever I accept bounty hunter/freeing slaves quests, the enemies never show up. Also, it's now saying that I can't fast travel to certain locations because I have not discovered them yet.. even though I've been going to them for the last 10 hours or so.

Has anyone else had problems like this with this game? Any suggestions?
