Weird. Considering how shaky the Bucs were at qb I would have thought Plummer would have liked to have gone there.whytemyke said:NFL Network has Adam Schefter reporting that Jake The Snake Plummer is retiring. A deal had been worked out between Broncos and BUcs and Plummer opted to retire rather than play for the Bucs :lol

The San Diego Union-Tribune notes today that Chargers LG Kris Dielman was boarding a private plane for Seattle. My understanding is that the Seahawks sent a couple of coaches down there to pick him up and then accompany him on a flight back to Seattle for a visit. That type of treatment is generally reserved for players a team intends to sign, but the evidence is purely circumstantial at this point. Stay tuned.

Marsellus Wallace said:I think you're gonna find when all this shit is over and done I think you're gonna find yourself one smilin' mother****er. Thing is Jake, right now you got ability. But painful as it may be, ability don't last. Now that's a hard mother****in' fact of life, but it's a fact of life your ass is gonna hafta git realistic about. This business is filled to the brim with unrealistic mother****ers who thought their ass aged like wine. Besides, even if you went all the way, what would you be? A superbowl QB. Who gives a shit? I doubt you can even get a credit card based on that.
Now the night of the game, you may fell a slight sting, that's pride ****in' wit ya. **** pride! Pride only hurts, it never helps. Fight through that shit. 'Cause a year from now, when you're kickin' it in the Caribbean you're gonna say, "Marsellus Wallace was right."
Of course not, but they've had more than enough joke QBs in that span, which means I can recognize one on sight.Andokuky said:Uh.... 40-15 record as a starter in 4 seasons.
15 losses in 4 years... do the Lions even have 15 wins in that time? Just curious :lol
I thought Marsellus Wallace was supposed to look like a b*tch. Or am I thinking of the wrong guy?maynerd said:So right....

I read something somewhere that said the NFL is taking it slow this year so that the league doesn't look so bad with the whole "do as I say, not as I do" thing in terms of tampering.Nameless said:Getting sort of nervous. The 49ers have made significant progress in their pursuit of Clements, and could get a deal done today, reports ESPN.com's John Clayton. Clements, the top cornerback on the market, is also a target of the Titans and Browns. However, neither team has as much money as San Francisco, which has good chance of getting the deal done.
12:26 p.m.: Cornerback Nate Clements (Bills) and safety Michael Lewis (Eagles) are currently at the 49ers facility.
They haven't been bad since Marinelli has been involved. Almost every guy they drafted last year not only made the squad but played an important role in the team at one point or another.Tamanon said:Thank god the Lions are stocking up on draft picks, they're great at that side of things!

Darrell Jackson: The Seahawks might have found a suitor for the talented but injury-prone wide receiver. The issue now is agreeing on compensation. Seattle has reportedly talked to the Jaguars about getting a day one draft pick in return for Jackson. -- John Murphy

Your TWO teams?
Denver and New Orleans?
Yeah, that's not possible, sorry.
Slo said:What's the problem? I've got two teams. I thought everybody did. Sure, my main team is the Vikings, but I'm TOTALLY been a Seahawks fan ever since Nate Burleson went there. Go 'Hawks!
