Pete Prisco picked the Bucs 21-14 over the Panthers.

Guys, go ahead and pick the Panthers, the outcome has been decided.

he said someone is going to have to pay for it on espn just now, he looked really pissed lol.

How the hell is Tampa Bay going to put up 21 points or even 14 for that matter? I don't think there's any curse involved, he just sucks.

concussions generally aren't funny

The Niners gave Cool Joe the boot, why is Brett untouchable?

I think Joe owned San Fran as much or more than Brett owns Cheesetown.

Now granted there is probably no way he gets traded, but no one is above being traded or fired in the NFL.

difference being joe montana suffered a serious injury and a future hall of famer was backing him up. yes i avoided the temptation of using the phrase "a younger future hall of famer" in the previous sentence.

it's not like the packers have a dynamo like alex smith waiting in the wings. who do the packers have backing up favre? aaron rodgers? :lol

But my point was that Joe won 4 Superbowls (very close to 5 before injury and fumble) in 10 years and after he breaks some bones he is given the boot. If Joe could go anyone can go.

If the 9ers Let Jerry Rice leave San Fran, who i consider the best player to ever play the game go, especially when he had 3-4 great more years in him, anyone can go

Plus, it seems to me like a lot of the fans have such a love/hate relationship with Favre anymore that they'd like to break it off. But probably not until after they go 0-16 so they can get Adrian Peterson.

we made rice an offer but he refused to stay in san fran because of the direction the team was headed. not our fault but whatever

1. He was a smart man for leaving.
2. The offer was trash im guessing. Cheap ass franchise!

NFL Rookie of the Week?

Three Tackles, two sacks, and 2 qb hurries... Manny Lawson.
This week it's the guy on the right, next week on the left (get some catches vd!). Damn.

VD is gonna be Shut Down. 1 Catch, 7 yards. That D-Line, Even without the Freak, will be all up in Alex's Grill. Much like last year

Last week 13-3
Season 22-10

I'm coming for that #1 spot in the GAF pick 'em.

Carolina at Tampa Bay (Somebody's going to be all alone at the bottom :lol)
Chicago at Minnesota
Cincinnati at Pittsburgh
Green Bay at Detroit
Jacksonville at Indianapolis
N.Y. Jets at Buffalo
Tennessee at Miami
Washington at Houston
Baltimore at Cleveland
N.Y. Giants at Seattle
Philadelphia at San Francisco
St. Louis at Arizona
Denver at New England

Atlanta at New Orleans

1 catch 7 yards would be an improvement from the rams game :D

p.s. you don't have a LB on your roster that can stick with davis. the only question is whether he can secure the ball. once he has the ball in his hands he is an absolute beast

also alex smith has never played against the eagles. you are thinking tim rattay!

Good. Its gonna be like the first time Eli encountered the Eagles

OH BALLS ITS ON LIKE DONKEY KONG!

i finally coaxed CB into betting me. just to make it official, here are the terms of the deal:

* if 49ers win, CB owes me $60
* If eagles win, i owe CB an unopened copy of NBA 2k7 360

let the games begin ladies!

What kind of Giants fan am I, Wellington?
The conversation in question was along the lines of how the Jailbirds had theduce, Seahawks have maynerd, and Panthers had thekad, but Wellington was lucky he didn't have his own to deal with and shouldn't talk about those who do.

Holy crap if Iggles lose to the Niners McNabb will be more emo than last week.

EDIT: Gotcha. I post every 3-5 days and miss stuff. :)

That being said Giants will get sweet revenge Sunday. So sayeth this man:

Nice article about the Bengals/Steelers game.

Man, Cincy fans hate Pittsburgh almost as much as I hate New England.

I think give it a few more years and a few more battles for the division and this rivalry will rank among the most intesne... I mean its pretty mean right now but its still not up to the caliber of say

Steelers vs. Ravens
Eagles vs. Giants
Redskins vs. Cowboys

I think over the next few years, as Gentle Ben continues his transformation into the next Tommy Maddox, this rivalry will die down.

I think that this year the Bengals-Steelers rivalry is more intense than our rivalry with the Ravens.

Even Tommy Maddox had a winning record against the Bungles. :lol

Well i live in san jose, like 20-30 minutes, i might be able to do it.

I need a laptop picked up, packaged, shipped to me. Let me know how much you'd expect to be paid for your time. I don't know how much shipping would be but we can work something out.

carried over from the Steelers/Browns after the move.

the rivalry actually carried over? i mean, aren't they two different fanbases? it just doesnt seem the same.

if the redskins every moved, our rivalry wont be the same since the same fans aren't involved.

The Bengals need a few more winning seasons before there's a true rivalry. So, yeah, I think Baltimore/Pitt is a bigger one. I had much euphoria when the Steelers knocked them out of the playoffs the year after they won the super bowl. And, actually, NE/Pitt is currently a bigger rivalry than Cinci/Pitt. I don't think Cinci/Pitt was ever really that big of one. Going back through the years Pitt/Cleveland, Pitt/Houston and Pitt/Raiders were much, much bigger.
