Official Virtua Fighter 5 Battle Arena Version C Thread

Is there a way to gauge how many of the opponents in a certain arcade you have beaten? Also I assume the star beside their name means I have already beaten them.

If you press start on the menu, and go through the list of each arcade spot, it shows you every single person you've beaten per arcade, as well as the percentage as well...

And yes, if you see a star, you've beaten that person already...

This thread makes me wanna pop the game back in again JUST to get that million points per character...

I think I'm just gonna buy this and force myself to adapt to the shitty-ass 360 d-pad. Those videos were inspiring.
you could buy an arcade stick and actually have an easier time playing the game.

I just beat Kobun Heat for the Finals in the official Challenger's Cup Tournament in Quest Mode - thanks for the Achievement and the emblem Chris! :D

I know you've heard this a million times but honestly, buy the Hori stick for the 360. It's a really good investment. You will improve a lot when you get used to it and not only will you be able to play other 360 fighting games with it but because of its USB connection, you could use it for your PC as well. Also, for just $50 - $60 this stick is well done.

I do, every now and then. My GT is "Punishing Soul" so if you ever see me online just send me an invite

Just bought this game and the Hori Stick recently, so how's the online competition?? I'm a noob to the Virtua Fighter series, but am familiar with the Street Fighter series and arcade scene, so I hope the learning curve isn't hard. Can't wait to kick ass on XboxLive.

It's been selling for platinum price in most of Europe as well too, really no excuse not to have this game if you're a VF fan really...

I'd send invites to play, but I'm trying to stay focused on my last exams, then I leave for vacation right after...
