The Origin's edition of course. I need those skins, and I need the Baby Winston pet for WoW.
I'm really curious to see how well Overwatch will do on consoles, but it's main player base will no-doubt be on PC.

$40. Most of the content is for games I do not play.
$40. Don't play the other Blizzard games (except for D3 on PS4, but everyone got Mercy's wings there), so it was just $20 for 5 skins for me. Didn't feel it. Might upgrade someday.

$40 for me, I might upgrade to $60 eventually for the Tracer skin but that really depends if I get more into Tracer when the game finally launches

$40 for me also. I don't play most of those other games, and I don't need another excuse to play WoW. Also I wasn't too impressed with the Origins skins. I'm sure Blizz will end up getting an extra Overwatch $20 from me in another way though.

The content you get for the Origins edition is horrible. They should have included at least some loot boxes. I don't play any of the other games and I know many are the same, so you are getting mostly 5 skins. That requires way too much time to play Overwatch and everything else.
I'd only be buying it for the skins. I thought about it but I don't particularly like any of those skins more than the existing legendaries for those characters. And I don't really play most of them that often.

I really considered it, but I don't play any other Blizzard games and the skins were for characters I either rarely play or I thought they looked mediocre.

The in game price of skins/etc is a tad bit expensive too if you ask me.

I've been hearing that no, its a lifetime exclusivity thing for origin's edition owners. Much like the Widowmaker pre-order skin as well.
Of course that could change, but it wouldn't be very soon unless blizzard wanted some bad press

Nope, I think they're exclusive. $20 for skins and other game bonuses is already not a great value. But if those were just early unlocks, that'd be complete rubbish.

I really enjoyed the beta, but I'm afraid this might be another Titanfall for me.

Yeah, it really is. I have the main theme stuck in my head now.
Only one week to go! I'm reluctant to pre order though, while I enjoyed the hell out of the beta and the beta is basically the full game, I'm worried about longetivity not just for me but for the entire playerbase. If I find myself stuck for players though I guess I can always fall back on GAF and find some other members to play with.
That's really bullshit, considering you could get those skins during the beta.

Yup, they nerfed him week 1, and later everybody figured out that Sentinel wasn't THAT good against people who knows how to play... I hope Blizzard won't make the same mistake.
Oh well, no big losses for me. There's better skins for Widowmaker and Bastion. I really liked the Soldier 76 one, though.
Maybe I'm old, but skins are at the bottom of my list. I just want that sweet gameplay and fun I had during the beta. I don't care what characters look like. I'd gladly pay money for the type of fun I had and I did.

Thing is players think the class is cheap, gets easy kills and just hard to defeat, when they don't realize each character has counters
I played Bastion a fuck ton cause quickly I learned angles and chokepoints
When I switched and had an enemy Bastion I remembered which characters got the best of me and guess what I returned the favor
Tracer can zip by with full fast forward
Reaper can teleport
Hanzo and Genji are the arch nemesis for Bastion
Shit Roadhog neutralizes with his hook so well
A lot of players don't learn the maps, acess points, chokepoints and keep rushing through the same open lane over and over till they break through
If you won't learn how will you get better, same goes for Fighters, practice and become better
Not using the git gud reference, but a lot of players are playing this like other FPS, keep bashing against the wall, sooner or later we will break through, if not, complain wall too OP
If you play Heroes of the Storm it's a deal considering Tracer is $10, but you're right if you don't play Heroes I would pick up the $40 PC version.

40. I've never played any of Blizzard's other games so 5 skins for $20 seemed like a losing proposition.

That's not really how Blizzard balances things. The only dev I've ever seen be flexible to changing a class, or whatever because they aren't working well in the current iteration of the game is the Dota team. I think every patch for the last five patches has seen heroes have significant changes to what their abilities actually do. Blizzard is all about small number tweeks, if problems persist with Bastion I full expect him to get a nerf to dps or turn speed. I personally think Bastion is fine.

This is what I've been trying to say. Bastion goes from an incredible pubstomper to bottom tier as players get more experienced with how systems are supposed to work; to me, that says that either straight up buffing or outright nerfing him would be a mistake, since the buff would exacerbate the former problem, and the nerf, the latter.
