played the demo and could not stand the Vaseline filter. Is this even 1080 on ps4?
Game is a step up from 2014 but sadly Fifa still has the crown.

It is, 1080p 60fps on PS4.

it definitely does not look as crisp as other 1080p games. It has an NHL type softness to it.
I for one don't see it as a problem. The game looks more natural and fluid to me this way.
One thing I will say, however, it that the goalkeepers for Bilbao and Napoli are absolutely horrendous. Compared to Bayern, Juventus and Barcelona, their goal keepers literally stood still as players finessed weak shots like it was nothing.

Will play the uk ps4 demo today and decide whether i should cancel my fifa 15 preorder. Ps3 version of winning eleven 2015 is brilliant!
Funny enough I think Fifa Iniesta looks alot more like that.
Apart from a few PES players look alot more realistic then their Fifa counterparts.
In what area? The pitch? License? Every other aspect PES clearly is alot better this year.

Yep. FIFA looks better as a whole but PES has the best models hands down.

PES 2015 is glorious, especially in "0" bars assistance and manual shooting, the AI is fantastic to.
I think Konami just wanted to get a solid base which they can build on every year without rehashing the game like they have the last 7 years.
Graphically the game is fine but hopefully we'll see better skin and pitch textures, cloth physics etc, but I'm happy where the game is right now.

Serious question.
I downloaded both the xbox one version and PS4 version.
Xbox One looks a bit blurry compared to PS4 version, Most noticeable when the goalkeeper hits the ball. the ball and everything looks slightly blurry.
i tried this a few times and it is very obvious.
Has anyone else noticed the difference or is it just me?

Sounds very encouraging guys and i think my mind is made up - pro evo it is this year. Fifa does look better overall, but i am spending so much time playing the ps3 demo of winning eleven 2015 at the moment - i haven't played a pes demo so much since the ps2 era. This is a sure sign that the king has returned. The graphics aren't the best overall, but the player models and animations beat fifas, thats for sure!

There hasn't been anything official, but it's using the fox engine which we saw had differences in Ground Zeroes.

What is impressing here? Bad collision? Shooting animations where the players slides on the ground for a few moments before the shooting animation begins?
I might still end up buying this, but right now it looks like the same old PES crap.

So, who is buying both Fifa and PES? Are any people waiting to play the PS4 demo of PES 2015 to make a decision on one? I don't have the time to dedicate to two football games!
I have been on Fifa since PES2008. But this year I am gonna go PES2015. And only PES. Dont have time for both.

It's nice to hear people say positive things about PES again. It's been playing second fiddle for far too long now. The amount of time my mates and I put into ISS and early PES games (up until about PES6) was ridiculous. Obviously that will never be replicated because, sadly, we're all growded up. Cannot wait to try the demo later tonight.
I will be getting FIFA this year though, in fact it's already been pre-ordered and paid for. But next year, who knows? Maybe PES will get back to being the top dog. FIFA had it far too easy last gen, a little competition will also do that game some good.

Konami are certainly going back in the right direction and have produced the better game this year. EA's effort is much better from a presenation aspect, but PES 2015 just feels better and is more rewarding imo.

am sorry, but i only see iniestas, suarez and neymars face being better. the rest are much better in fifa

Well i usually end up getting PES & FIFA anyway as cant be playing just one football game all year, It's not the gameplay as such that bothered me with pes last year, It was the serious lack of depth too it's modes.
ML & BAL was just forward too the next match, Reminded me of mega drive days playing fever pitch soccer
I play in Player cam mode anyway just controlling the one player, So hopefully thats added again and i hope they have fleshed out the gamemodes like PES6 on the ps2.

It does look a bit messy on xbox one at least ain't tried ps4 yet, it's both blurry and jaggy as fuck at the sametime. Gameplay feels top notch though.
I'd say from that video, Messi, Neymar and Suarez look better in PES, the others look better in FIFA or it's a wash.

Still not clear for me,do we expect the demo with the store update today for UK?
I was on the fence this year but I finally decided last night after having a great time with the pes ps4 demo and cancelled my fifa 15 pre order.
I'm honestly also thinking about channeling my FIFA 15 pre-order but PES being some weeks away and not knowing if the netcode is improved kind of forces me to buy FIFA at this point.

Playing the FIFA 15 demo again, that one is pretty great as well.

Has anyone from Canada downloaded this yet? I can't seem to find it on the ps4 store, and using the webstore gives me an error when I try to "purchase" it.
Yes. Button swap is gone. X is confirm and O is cancel (Asia is the other way around, weired.)
I downloaded it. Was in the console store.

You actually have to go look for it in the 'new this week'section. It doesn't showbin the demo highlight pafe otherwise. Yes, the ps4 store is not good.

About the future of the franchise. I wonder which edition of PES for will be the true nextgen game and if Fox Engine is the ideal engine if we like to see the game evolve.
If we continue like this, the only difference between PS3 and PS4 will be the fps, lighting effects and animations, that's because the versatility of the engine.
It will be a Cross-Gen game forever? Because for the first time we are in a moment thats both console versions looks almost the same

I can take this for this years instalment, but expect it to be new gen only from 2016 onwards.
I doubt that will happen. They were still supporting PS2 and PSP last year.

Really? Didn't know this, but expect the PS4 version's graphics to improve significantly. I am glad they have got the gameplay right for the first time in over 6 years now!
