Very much so, but expect hiccups. When games hiccup they lurch forward or backward and it can cause some annoyance depending on the game.
Also very loud audio cracking if the connection drops, which it will as it's PSN.

It's kind of depended upon your connection. It's pretty amazing Service. I think you take a slight visual hit but I'm not 100% sure.
I've tried it a few times. It's really good.

If PS Now had current gen games and was at $15 a month it would be an attractive service. I feel ppl are moving on from last gen (including Sony) so it's weird to only see last gen games on the service

I always use a USB cable on my Mac for Remote Play anyway.

No enhancements, no higher resolutions, no better framerates, no modding.
It's a PS3 on your PC.

I hope they improve the back end a bit. On a wired 25 down/10 up connection I would still have problems streaming. Mostly noticeable input lag in games with shooting mechanics (Uncharted 3, Resistance 3).
Though thankfully you don't have to worry about game installs.

I found the latency addition of remote play unpalatable for a PS4 streaming to a PC in my own house, not going accross the internet, just router to device each way. I can only imagine this could only be worse?

Neat. Though the latency will make it hard for people to take seriously. Hack and slash games will be great to play though.
Thats me, the only reason i'm excited about this news, now just need to know that I dont have to buy a DS3 or DS4 to play it
Emulation would usually imply higher resolution or framerates or the like. This is like streaming from a console you don't own.
