they've said there would be but it never really happened. sort of a lame store update when they changed the store. Should be mandatory .

I think not having at least a few screenshots of games cuts down on impulse buys, even if the game is 2.99 or something. Can't understand why Sony doesn't have it. Not everyone feels like to going to the comp to research a game. It's hard to tell what a game is like from reading some vague text, that I'll add is also too small. I wish Sony would make the text bigger and easier to read.

Why are they so bad at labeling content on the Store? Took me awhile to find out what game an addon was referring to, because the name of the addon was the only thing showing.

It's up to the developer to put screenshots/video on their games page. Not Sony.

Has anyone played the minis version of Monopoly?


I've been playing it and I have to say, it's by far the best version of the game you can get on the PS3 right now. And it's so cheap.

If you like Monopoly, grab it.

I have tried and finished the demo. I just want to know if the game is going to have more to offer, if the platforming get's more varied, etc. Kind of hard to really get impressions of most of the game outside of the demo.

Ah I see. I hear the last few levels are frustrating. I haven't played more than the first stage though.

The Price is Right is bad. Reeeeally bad.

Loading times are ridiculous and constant and the prices are weird as hell. $15 for an answering machine but $40 for a plastic cereal dispenser? :lol

Waste of $10 imo

:( What a waste. That would be a fun game with friends and beer on my game nights. We play it on the Wii atm with those other cheap tv show game...games.

It's so worth it though for trophy whores. The game has SO MANY silver trophies I was in heaven getting them all today. So fun. I don't mind the $10. The prices are really insane and not realistic at all though. I'll give you that.

Maybe. Probably not any time even remotely soon after the PS3 release, though. Groovin' Blocks and Feeding Frenzy 2 were also listed for the PSP like that. And those were months ago...

Can you also ask how much each game would be? Namely Hitogata Happa, Gundemonium, and GundeadliGNE. :p

Only grabbed the Echochrome Gallery bundle this week (nothing else noteworthy - already got the JP ver of Rocket Knight last week which is a nostalgia murderer, and Price is Right is more DD shovelware).

suggest everyone to pick it up, it's simply beautiful. Huge, huge amount of playable stages in a huge grid-view set to the new piano remixes. Beautiful audio and beautiful visuals. I find this "jump in and play" approach a lot more motivating than the original echochrome. You can select a level in the huge grid, zoom in and out on them, or randomize what level you play. They put a noticeable amount of polish on this little product.

Anyone who was a fan of echochrome, and ideally has a nice HDTV and surround setup, must download the bundle ASAP (believe the Gallery is only downloadable if you buy the bundle, not the OST's separately).

i asked about it in the last PSStore thread because some friends were having issues, i have not tried yet myself but it is a shame if is something that is here to stay. Not because games are a bit cheaper, but because euro store is always lagging behind US store.

They added a new lower difficulty "Beginner" (lower than "Very Easy" :lol ) with a patch and even then it's more like "Normal" in other games D:

oh they are playable? :eek: So it's like a spin-off echochrome because it's no the full game but you can play the best 1000 levels.
edit: but... the full game is 104 MB, why is the Gallery so big?

Well, the "fix" is to block the foreign credit cards. They did it for Hong Kong PSN accounts as well, so if it actually changed there is a good chance it will stay that way. I never understood anyway why the US store was an exception (and also not for all credit cards), but I was super happy about it.


Sometimes when it doesn't accept your card it's just a maintenance.
I will try to add funds as well later. This will be huge for me as I buy about 50% of my stuff in the US store, not only because it's often cheaper but released earlier, different content (PS1 games!) etc.

Yep, all playable. And there was more levels on there than my eye could see (I was moving past everything and couldn't find repeats! The amount of levels in this is HUGE), probably had something to do with all that data being in that one file (echochrome Gallery) instead of through downloaded updates...the base echochrome game is 104 MB more than likely because all those extra levels are update data and such. Who knows, maybe a different means of compression and such. It doesn't matter to me. The Gallery 'game' only 1.4 GB if I recall.
