Sounds good to me! I was ready for the 1.99 each but nice to see the bundle. And LOVE the Santy Claus outfit!

So HOME is actually releasing tomorrow?
Thats amazing timing, since thats when UPS is suppose to deliver my new PS3.

Its like Home releasing is too much since well I already have other things planed for the PS3 this day. Gonna surf on it,watch some BluRay,and maybe buy a game or two from PSN before trying out MotorStorm 2 and Valkyrie Chronicles.

Feels like Christmas.

are people on gaf actually buying the lbp costumes?
Yes? While they are a tad overpriced I understand the licensing behind it. And I'm a fan who likes me some LBP costumes.

Hey I've gotten the Namco Arcade beta from the jpn store... anyone know how to get the arcade units to work within Home? (you win them for playing the game.. you can place pac-man, dig dug, galaga, and xavior in your personal home space!)

I'm thinking of renting LBP from gamefly, is the general laggyness gone or should I hold off for a while?

Never really lagged online multiplayer for me. It's depends on the connections of you and who you play with.

Siren got a price cut.

No, not really, that's how much I paid for it, if not a little less.

I'm guessing that's a price cut in comparison to the BD release of the game in Japan since that was priced a little higher than the special limited only pre-release for J-PSN.

Nah, in that case, it has more to do with the fact that when Siren: NT was released in Japan, it was released a week before the BD release. In Japan, Siren was originally only a BD game (whereas the west would get PSN releases, North America never seeing a BD release by the way), but a week prior to the game's release in Japan, SCEI did a special promotion for Siren: NT, it was their "Siren Survival Promotion", basically for the people who bought the game, chapters 3-12 (I think it was 12 chapters, been awhile since I played the game anyway) were all time-release locked with each progressing day leading up to the BD release a new chapter would be unlocked for play. The fun marketing ploy was can you survive the horror in said days or something cliche like that.

Unlike the PSN releases in the west, this release was just the full game, with no option to buy the separate "episodes" (more like just a cheesy way of allowing the game to be downloaded less painfully, it is a 9GB game after all), with the first two chapters playable on the first day and the others not playable until the release of the retail game. This version of Siren: NT was only sold for like 2 days, and after those two days it disappeared from PS Store, only to return now.

Oh and they also decorated the Japanese store all with Siren Red during that time, really cool stuff.

Just about every single time I get drunk, out comes the copy of Bushido Blade 2 and I start trying to get anyone to play it. That is one game I could seriously play a thousand consecutive rounds of. Of course, a round can be like 2 seconds.. but that's not the point.

You have no idea how many times I've actually considered learning Japanese to play these games, except that I'll never use it and don't have time.

We need a "Gaming Japanese Training Course" like Rosetta Stone but for gamers.

Teach me the Japanese lettering for things like "Start", "Continue", "There are 7 mystic and/or sacred stones.", and "You must destroy the great evil poison cloud before it envelops the world, and return the 7 mystic stones, which will restore the flow of time."
