RNG insists on fucking me over today.
I'm going for more of a defensive build (+Sp. Def, -Attack nature with 252 HP and Sp. Def), so I just figured that Flamethrower would be a good last spot to prevent Steel-types from walling me altogether. Aura Sphere might also be a good choice for that slot in order to crush Rock-types as well, but it doesn't have the power, boosted secondary effect or novelty of Flamethrower
Plus it gets rid of Skarmory. I can see it being better, especially since Skarmory will be better these days due to fairy.

What the heck. I spend days to Masuda breed shiny Honedge and Phantump, then I do regular breeding for Eevee... and get a shiny! I'm not sure if I should be happy or not.
Just saw this inquiry.
On my Carbink, I run Reflect, Light Screen, Stealth Rock and Power Gem. The screens cut all damage to your team in half. Stealth Rock and Power Gem are a potent combo against Pokémon like Talonflame, Volcarona and Charizard(s), which they can also switch into safely. Equip the item Light Clay to make Reflect and Light Screen last eight turns instead of five. :O

Light Clay is held by 5% of Golett/Golurks in the wild. You're best off checking the Friend Safari list in the thread here at GAF, and reaching out by PM to one of the three people who have wild Golurk in their Friend Safari. Then go to the Friend Safari, and use a Pokémon with the move Thief to take out each Golurk you encounter, until you steal Light Clay from one. Your Thief Pokémon can't be holding anything if you want it to work. Once stolen, you retrieve it from the Thief Pokémon. You can KO the Pokémon and the item will still be stolen.
That's what I'm using at the moment sadly, I'm just unable to get the last stat to make a 5IV Carbink. It's just not happening, I think if I was using a 4 or 5 IV Ditto it'd be a lot easier, but I don't have any of those

In addition to Reflect/Light Screen/Stealth Rock/Power Gem, you can mix and match any of the following with great success:
- Trick Room, for setting up slow Pokémon on your team
- Sunny Day, Hail or Sandstorm, for weather teams
- Protect, Substitute, Toxic, Rest, Sleep Talk, for stalling (an ubers set at Smogon)
- Explosion, for making a quick transition to your sweeper
- Moonblast, for dealing with dragons
- Stone Edge, if you don't mind the accuracy

So far I have 3 shinys. My first in this game was psyduck, I hate psyduck lol. I've never got one in any of the previous games.

I got something similar but with a lower speed instead of SpA. TBH I think lower speed would help if I face a ferr/forr lead, and I can't see any threats that needs to have a chance of outspeeding anyway.

Well now I have a delimma. I bred the shiny Eevee to have a Bold Nature and Wish, and it has max IVs in HP, Sp.A, and Sp.D. It doesn't have it's hidden ability either. Should I go with another Vaporeon, or go with the newcomer Sylveon (Who has a better shiny)? My current Vaporeon is a Hydration/Rest variety.

For a Bold Carbink, I highly recommend 252 HP / 252 Defense / 6 Sp. Def.
At lv. 100, with perfect IVs, you'll have 304 HP, 438 Defense and 337 Sp. Defense.
Then you use Reflect/Light Screen, and boost those defenses by 50%.
