If you own a decent PC there is no need to purchase the XSX.
This is a topic in itself. What is going to be classfied as "a decent PC" when these consoles come out?
Microsoft have said that their first party titles will still release on the Xbox one for the first few years, so if you have a PC that can match the seven year old hardware in the XBO then you're good.
That's not a poll and that type of comparison has zero statistical predictive value. Techspot among others have actual polls with 10s of thousands of votes which show a roughly 50/50 split.
I can't find that Techspot poll.
Here was IGN's with over 50k votes:
That IGN poll is a solid indicator although it should be noted that it was conducted the week of July 6th and isn't current. I don't see an updated poll or location to vote right now.
The one on Techspot has apparently been taken down for the moment without notice.
Another poll showing similar results to the Techspot poll is on Techpowerup, it is a currently active poll with a little over ~40k votes which shows a slight 51% - 49% advantage for Xbox Series X. It's on the front page of the Techpowerup website right now.
Its unlikely the Xbox games showcase would've moved the needle on that IGN poll much if any. But, as noted there are other large polls showing quite different results.
Edit: a currently active poll on AndroidAuthority.com with a little over ~12k votes shows XseX 33%, PS5 62%, Other (Switch, PC, etc) 5.1%

I don't know whats so hard for you to understand? Everything you've stated is an opinion and not a fact. I'm not obliged to agree with your opinion. Linking a collection of opinions that agree with yours is not going to make me change my opinion. A plagues tale is one of the most boring games I've spent time "playing" and its animations/game feel leave a lot to be desired imo. Visually, it leans heavily on its art direction but graphically, its just okay. You're are entitled to like what you like and I'm entitled to disagree. Move on.....Ah yes, the classic "I played this game for 5 minutes so I think I know what I'm talking about".
Read the Steam reviews, people are mentioning the visuals. Read through the OT for the game here:
A Plague Tale : Innocence |OT| A Mischief of Rats
Developer : ASOBO Studio Publisher: Focus Home Interactive Release: May 14, 2019 Platforms: Xbox-PS4-PC Price: $49.99 | £44.99 | €49.99 Website: http://aplaguetale.com/en PC Recommended Specs: Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64 bits) Processor: Intel Core...www.neogaf.com
Again, people are talking about being impressed by the visuals.
A few screenshots from my current playthrough:
Sorry your computer couldn't do the game justice.
60% PS5 and not even 10% XSX right now.
I know this is just a rather meaningless forum poll, but still: yeesh.
Same for me.PS5 day one, Xbox down the line maybe
I would say those are good numbers for Xbox at this stage, having not even shown a game running on the system.I can't find that Techspot poll.
Here was IGN's with over 50k votes:
This forum is horribly biased though. Those IGN numbers are more realistic.60% PS5 and not even 10% XSX right now.

This is where I'm at. I can't justify getting both at launchI was expecting to get both at launch
The Xbox showcase helped me realize I only need PS5. I'll probably get an Xbox some time down the line.
I honestly don't think that is true. It certainly didn't sway anyone on the fence, but most who were planning to buy a XSX before Craig are still buying one after. For 99% of people, Halo: Infinite was running on SeX. You gotta admit, that game has dampened a load of people's interest in owning one. It was supposed to do the opposite.

If Everwild, Hellblade 2 and Avowed look good during gameplay then I'll need a few more to drop the cash on a Xbox Series X
Yep, and Avowed sounds crazy ambitious so who knows if it'll even see the light of day lol I know Everwild is just art right now but it looks sooo goodThose three games are a long ways off, Fable too.
Avowed and Fable look to be as far along as Elder Scrolls VI was it was announced.
Hellblade 2 will beafe in Unreal Engine 5, which won't even be available until next year.
And Everwild hasn't even determined what type of gameplay it will have.
I think waiting for more info is a pretty safe bet.
This is why MS is changing their strategy. There are not going to win a console sales contest with Sony. Sony has way too much mindshare and have been in the console gaming business way longer. There are entire countries that will never buy an Xbox. Why fight on your competitors territory? Carve your own path. MS will be fine.I can't find that Techspot poll.
Here was IGN's with over 50k votes:
I find it interesting that only 5% are undecided at this point. I would've expected more.

How has the PS5 vs XsX vote changed, if any?
Yeah I voted both before but now it seems it'll be neither for me. I mean, why do you need those consoles if you can play all the games on PC? It's funny/sad that after such a weak launch lineup PS4/XB1 had, both Sony and MS claimed how strong their upcoming lineup will be, only to turn out it will be even weaker, much weaker than 7 years ago, they basically have no games ready for those consoles, and won't have until 2022/23, at that time we will most likely get the slim models already, if not even mid-gen refresh models...
I’ve seen nothing from either machine at launch to warrant a purchase. I’ll be sitting this one out. First time I’ve ever skipped a console launch. Maybe something in August will grab me, but I doubt it.
Are you picking up the 3080 ti in a few months? If so will you get nvidias cards or wait for the other companies?I had a next-gen console about 2yrs ago.. 2080Ti PC w/64G of RAM
Horizon isnt At launch is it? I really want a new Resistance. I hope we see that in August, but I doubt it.Thts cool. I thoroughly enjoyed my ps4 at launch even with just a few games like Infamous, Shadow Fall and Drive Club after. The tech and the ftp games held me over good.
You give me just one of these four at launch, GT, Spiderman, Ratchet or Horizon with one or two third party and I'm a step ahead ps4 launch and very happy. Plus not to mention I have psvr which is bc and I'm dying to see if the games are enhanced

No it isn't. We know from the trailer description of TES VI that it was in pre-production in June 2018
Having decided to one day put out another Elder Scrolls and paying someone to come up with a quick render trailer already is pre-production.
Pre-production literally only means you haven't even started yet.
