Well,
A) Rockstar has 10 times the budget. At least.
B) Lost and Damned is obviously leaning heavily on the work they already did with GTA IV.
C) Prototype has way, way more hectic action than GTA IV
D) Prototype does not look like shit.
One by one here:
A) Rockstar has more money than Activision (the publishers and money behind this title)? Ever hear of the Guitar Hero games? Activision has no scruples, but they have plenty of fucking money.
B) The point still stands, if Rockstar could do it with GTA IV and then improve the hell out of it in so many ways for The Lost and Damned, why can't anyone else?
C) If you want hectic action with no cohesion, no sense of weight, or substance, nothing tied together in this world
AT ALL...than yes it has more of that than GTA. Much more.
D) Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, mate.
One more thing I forgot to mention earlier, did you like that call in a strike team nonsense in last summer's Hulk movie tie-in game? I hope you did, because you'll be seeing a lot more of those disposable idiots in this game. They're called in and 3 seconds later you huck a car or an industrial air conditioner (or some other large object in the environment) at them and destroy them.
Yeah, I know...it sounds kinda fun, right? Not after you're done it 20 times in an hour it's not.
And as far as comparing this to Crackdown? No, no, no...Crackdown is leaps and bounds (pun intended) beyond this steaming pile. Prototype is like the worst Activision Spider-Man game (think Spidey 3) put into a fucking blender with that horrible 2008 Hulk game with a nice healthy dash of brooding asshole character that no one asked for.
EDITED for grammar.
