I remember when the wii did this and everyone made fun of it
And people are not making fun of it now?

Looks interesting, but most FPS games I've seen for VR actually use handguns, rather than 2-handed machineguns.
For Killer Klowns
I hope they've made it that big because they're incorporating a nice haptic feedback system into it... like this thing:

Haha that thing looks dumb as hell
Looks like a cheap toy. Guess with console gotta keep it cheap.
No haptic feedback in the only game that uses this yet:

Am i the only one who gives absolutely 0-fucks what it looks like as long as it works well?
And that "ball" is pretty damn important.

Looks like the handle for a modern vacuum.

Fuck, so much for my hopes. It's 1:1 tracking for position, which you don't care, but it seems it's still gyro + magnetometer for aiming, which is bad for shooters :/
They really should have put a camera sensor on the gun and fixed beacons in the room...
"no move required" seems like an odd bulletpoint when it seems to be that exact tech shoved into an irremovable plastic case...a plastic shell would actually be more versitile like the original sharpshooter.
I'll pass on this for now though I do wish they had a normal move with an analog. Really have to wonder why they didn't just leave a light orb on top of the nav controller.
On the bright side no police is ever going to mistake it for a real weapon and kill you for carrying it around.
Seth Luisi is behind this right?
He was behind the original Socom launch and I bet that similar to how that was bundled with a headset that every copy of Farpoint will come with this for $50-$60.
Seems like PS Move and Navigation controller is built-in, so no extra accessories required when playing VR Shooters.
I don't think this is true at all... Specifically the NavCon looks like it can be slotted in.
It all looks pretty flushed to me. Click the photo and zoom in.
I hope that the classic sharpshooter still works!
