I can do a recording tomorrow. Is anyone able to test FFX and X-2 HD Remaster?
I can do another video tomorrow, including a fly-over and, if possible, a space battle. We need some flyovers to see the results, the pop-in and framerate issues were easiest to see when flying around the planets

Yeah, I agree... I guess we'll just have to wait for DF to put out some better comparison vids. At least in an anecdotal way, it's good to hear about the improvements that are sometimes drastically better. I'm so glad Sony allowed this feature. Some of these tests are not good enough to judge by eyeballing, we need actual FPS tests numbers for some to be sure more, wonder how we can do that ourselves.
Also sometimes the tests comparisons are not really identical in the first place
If I had the tools necessary to count and add the framerate, I would. I think DF pay top dollar to get those sort of tools, though, so unfortunately I can't.Some of these tests are not good enough to judge by eyeballing, we need actual FPS tests numbers for some to be sure more, wonder how we can do that ourselves.
Thanks, just some I whipped up today. Thanks! Awesome videos by the way
I was meant to do Until Dawn today but didn't get around to it. I can do one tomorrow. That Until Dawn video made it look like it got a dramatic FPS increase. Is this actually the case? Anyone else tested it?
Digital Foundry has a lot of work to do lol
No offense, but that point of view is a bit sad. If your own eyeballs aren't offended by the comparison, isn't that a GOOD thing? It means that, at least in these limited tests, the vanilla game hold up well. Some of these tests are not good enough to judge by eyeballing, we need actual FPS tests numbers for some to be sure more, wonder how we can do that ourselves.

Day 1 player here. Probably my favorite raid. Incredibly fun the whole way.I had never seen this raid before. That was fucking awesome.

Overall, all the videos I recorded and posted today have left me greatly impressed by boost mode. Why something like this wasn't included with the Pro on launch is beyond me, but it's exactly what the console needs to perfect it. All the games I played ran smooth as fuck (even FC4, despite what that one member said) and felt fluid as fuck. I can't wait to try out other games.

How's Deus Ex?
Oh yeahas a Pro mode
has anyone tested firewatch?
i had to stop playing on pro last week because the sluggishness of the experience was taking me out of the game
SOMA's performance is hugely inconsistent. There was one section I played back near release that was single digits but then it was smooth when I reloaded a checkpoint. Have no idea what's up with that one. There's definitely some more variables with its performance that aren't clear. I wouldn't chalk up the reported issues exclusively to the Boost Mode without more tests.I just ran SOMA... And perfomance seemed fine? Only two hickups when a new area just loaded in. Are there any particular areas the drop perfomance (no spoilers, haven't played it yet)? Uploading the video right now.
Edit: here it is, https://youtu.be/di7-9sIV-fQ
has a Pro mode
I wish I had it, only last year's certain but man boost mode is a game changer for it.Anyone try WWE 2k17?

Overall, the Pro runs a bit smoother but I don't think it runs at a locked 60fps on the Pro either. I don't have the framerate tools that Digital Foundry has but the Pro version felt better to play overall.
Having played Plants vs Zombies GW2 for some time, from what I can tell this is now running at a locked 1080/60. It ran well before but would stutter when there was a lot of alpha effects running simultaneously.
I can't say that it's going to be 100%1080/60 but it's looked really good on the couple of occasions that I've played it today.
Nope.Any analysis videos yet?
I can in like 9 hours if no one beats me to it. LolCan anybody try THE CREW in the boost mode!?

Does the game have performance issues or long load times? I bought it 2 Christmas ago and played for like 30 minutes and don't remember anything.Thx, i can wait as i don't have Beta FW.
Nice, thanks!I can do a recording tomorrow.
