Seriousy, check out http://re4hd.com to see the most faithful HD molding project I've ever seen. Not only are they being completely faithful to the original textures, they are fixing models too to put in real geometry where it was fake and to fix models that had terrible texture seams. They are even continually tracking down the real sources that Capcom took photos of to take new high resolution reference pictures. Check out any post called 'Look familiar?'

They've gone all over Italy and were recently in Wales doing this. It's nuts. Two guys. They're probably 90% done at this point.

Hell, 5 still looks amazing as-is. I'll definitely plop down $20 to play it looking and running even better. 4 is a buy regardless. As timeless as it gets.

It's really not that bad. It's not perfect but the gameplay mechanics are really good. The game get's trashed more than it should.

So, maybe the final battle with Umbrella that was seemingly hyped up but never happened? That would be pretty backwards, literally, but maybe they don't know what to do with the series post 6.

if only because I played it through 4 times on different difficulties, despite its massive flaws. Gameplay was tight and fun though, and I look forward to that the most.

No. The story is a bloated mess, but the characters do all have different "feels" to their story sections (military, horror, and action adventure/thriller). The gameplay is so good once you learn some of the tricks, which the game is admittedly awful at explaining.

OMG, I've been wanting this since the beginning of this generation. Hopefully they all will be 1080p 60fps (plus all DLC for RE5 and 6)

I'll probably buy them individually for Xbox One, and if they release them as a pack I'll get a physical copy on PS4.

Love that they are starting with RE6 BTW. That gameplay is so good...
