Just looked that name up on the box. Unless I got a character wrong, there's no Twitter under that handle.
There is. It's a protected account. He's a BF3 player.

I'm sorry, but how? DICE has delivered one of the most feature complete multiplayer FPS games...ever, with BF3 and it's post release content. I can understand why some might not like their decisions on a gameplay design level, but what is it that they promised that they didn't deliver on?I can't really feel that excited for BF4, they kinda dropped the ball with all the BF3 promises.

Years. The BFBC2 servers are still up
Why the hell is the cover in the exact same style as BF3?
Be original, for christ's sake. I know it's just a box cover, but come on.
Yup. I think they'll finally do CoD numbers. 20mil+ for BF4.with the PS4 already announced, if DICE and EA plays their cards right for this reveal, Battlefield 4 will be THE next-generation defining game.
I can't wait.
...because the Battlefield name is now heavily associated with orange accents, flaming soldiers, and blue/orange contrast? Why the hell is the cover in the exact same style as BF3?

It's kind of their thing now.[/QUOTE]
It's their "thing"... for Battlefield 3. They should've gone a new route instead of rehashing previous art styles.
Art design for sequels is just a peeve of mine, I suppose.
because it's not his?

Funny thing is, BF3 did 20+mil. I didn't think they'd gotten to that mark.
Also, any jet identification yet?
Deserved. Multiplayer Game of the Generation for me. (Not counting DOTA 2.)Funny thing is, BF3 did 20+mil.

The jet looks like a Eurofighter.
What have you done, KyleN wanted to be special

Not to be that guy but, console or PC? I'd agree with the fact that BF3 was a step in the wrong direction on consoles coming from BC2.Sure, it is one of the most complete multiplayer FPS game ever, but it is not the most complete Battlefield game. Sure, it's looking at the IP on itself, but this is a numbered title, and to be honest, with all the fun I had from BC2, I actually thought BF3 would've been a giant jump in the gameplay aspect, but it seemed more that they were pushing the engine more than the gameplay itself. Hell even the engine seemed gimped, most buildings couldn't be brought down in MP, let alone make a hole in walls.
It looks more like they said the series did 20 million.

Wow. I didn't see that happening. Has BF3 outsold MW3? O__o
With CoD sales declining, there can't be that much of a gap between the two IP now.
Destroying a level is fun. Playing in a flat, destroyed level isn't. I'm not sure how they're going to reconcile the two.Yes.
Although there are many things in BF3 I really like, going from bc2 levels of destruction to bf3 was a disappointment.
Taking down a house with a whole squad in it? Perfection.
So I guess 2143 doesn't seem likely?
Wanted to be special? If i wanted to be special i would paste my name in to the picture. I simply posted the pic i got from my source.
Well considering it did 17mil in October and 2 expansion packs, Black Friday deals, and plenty of sales have happened since then, I'd say it's safe to assume that 20mil they have on their website is true. So, wait. Did BF3 break 20 mil or not? Anyways. My point stands in that the momentum is with BF.
That's what I thought originally which would be interesting, but didn't expect it on the cover. Then again, maybe they're bringing back true WWIII with Euro forces involved as well like the BF2 "booster pack".
I was hoping they would include Russian or Chinese Gen 5 fighters so they could put the F-22 in as well since they'd all be pretty maneuverable and the avionics, electronics etc. wouldn't matter since it's BF.
I'm just tired of the damn F-35...lol
While I like what I read about BF4 in those leaks, I can't help but think its going to feel more like an expansion pack or something. Especially since its sticking with the modern setting.
I'm definitely going back for BF4.
Looking forward to playing with you guys again especially JM!
Great. Another Military Shooter i will skip because it got too mainstream. Thx EA for ruining Battlefield.
