Crossing Eden
Hello, my name is Yves Guillemot, Vivendi S.A.'s Employee of the Month!
.
.
Is it a rumor if that was the logo on the trailer? According to the 4 chan link it's based on Guerilla Games' engine
I thought it was a Sony first party engine?
Heavily modified to the point that it can be given a new name. According to Shinobi it's supposed to be Guerilla's engine.I thought it was a Sony first party engine?

Plz be 60 FPS

At those level of visuals? Yeesh.
The visuals are just insane, soo atmospheric. I love this engine.
That trailer was supposed to be on PS4 pro but no way they're getting that IQ on consoles or asset quality during gameplay since the game is supposed to be open world. Unless there's barely any AI systems in place.Well it's already confirmed to be running in 4K natively on PS4 so everything is on the table now.
I thought it was a Sony first party engine?
I know this is not the case but it still looks like the FOX Engine to me.
That's not real time, at least not on a pro. There is no engine that currently offers those levels of fluid rendering in real time. The visuals are just insane, soo atmospheric. I love this engine.
Like the Knack engine? LolMark Cenry, KING of the PS4 ARCHITECTURE, is helping Kojima so.... this engine oughta be super special.
I believe Geoff Keighley said this was running on a PS4 Pro right? That's not real time, at least not on a pro. There is no engine that currently offers those levels of fluid rendering in real time.
But I guess people will believe because Kojima, somehow breaking physics and ignoring hardware limits
I thought the same exact thing when I saw it. It's probably because of the direction of the camera and scene itself. Kojima has a very recognizable style!
Have you guys seen the video showing both trailers side by side? INSANE! I love it!

In the same way that UE4's FFVIIR looks unmistakably FF, the same technical team will lead to very similar results in terms of rendering.I know this is not the case but it still looks like the FOX Engine to me.
The MGSV e3 2013 trailer, (which was on pc), looks a good deal better than the final game. Models were higher poly, (Ocelot), things like hair looked a lot better, some scenes had more complex lighting, granted, the final game looks closer to that trailer than MGSIV did, but, again, there's no way he's getting these visuals during gameplay unless the game barely has anything resembling AI taking up the resources, this is an open world game.Or because he doesn't necessarily have a history of outright lying about what his games look like. The one time there was a big gap was with MGS4, in which the original tech demo was coded based on what the PS3's tech was supposed to be. The PS3 (specifically it's GPU) didn't live up to that original benchmark and was downgraded, so the change to MGS4 was inevitable.

More info:
Same Representative who trade marked Death Stranding.
Owner name is not listed as Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe Limited like Death Stranding instead Business Solutions INTL LTD.
He also claimed that the death stranding reveal trailer was "real time" when it was very very obviously CG.Or because he doesn't necessarily have a history of outright lying about what his games look like. Should I assume that it will be Kojima Production's engine even if they don't work with Sony after Death Stranding ?
Well that's kinda obvious, even past FF XV gameplay trailers looked amazing. That's not real time, at least not on a pro. There is no engine that currently offers those levels of fluid rendering in real time.

I could see that.Heavily modified to the point that it can be given a new name. According to Shinobi it's supposed to be Guerilla's engine.
Logo was shown in the trailer.
On PS4?
Haha...
Until Dawn creators used a modified version of Guerrilla engine too, it must be quite versatile and seems this is even more heavily modified Guerilla engine with Decima.Heavily modified to the point that it can be given a new name. According to Shinobi it's supposed to be Guerilla's engine.

yes, and it used very low poly character models for a current gen game & the open world was just a big empty plain with some rocks & the occasional outpost.Have you seen Fox Engine?

Shinobi is wrong. It's the second son engine according to some journalists.Shinobi said it's Guerilla's engine as well.
